About this product:
  • Celebrating 50 years, this five-disc set includes:
    • The Godfather (1972)
      • Director Francis Ford Coppola's landmark adaptation of Mario Puzo's best-selling novel of Mafia life in 1940s New York. Marlon Brando stars as aging mob boss Don Vito Corleone, who weighs the appointment of a rightful successor to head his "family business" from among his three sons: hot-headed first-born son Sonny (James Caan), weak-minded Fredo (John Cazale), and college-educated war hero Michael (Al Pacino).
    • The Godfather, Part II (1974)
      • Director Francis Ford Coppola and novelist Mario Puzo's story of the Corleone clan continues, as new boss Michael (Al Pacino) launches a violent campaign to extend his family's power, while flashbacks of a young Vito (Robert de Niro) depict his arrival at Ellis Island to his rise to Mafia prominence and his return to Sicily on a mission of vengeance.
    • Mario Puzo's The Godfather, Coda: The Death Of Michael Corleone (2020)
      • Francis Ford Coppola's painstaking 30th anniversary restoration/re-edit of "The Godfather, Part III," the stunning third installment in his crime saga, finds a weary 60-year-old Don Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) attempting to go straight for his family's sake and to finalize a complex business deal with the Vatican. However, as Corleone tries to get out, "they pull [him] back in," with tragic consequences.
    • Also includes the theatrical and 1991 cuts of "The Godfather, Part III."

Love the series (parts 1-2 anyway) so I bought the DVD set years ago at Best Buy for $80. Never used the DVD's...Years later, I bought the BluRay set for around $50 to have for my collection- haven't used them either. I'm not buying this sh*t again... Waiting for the 16K version to come out, then maybe I'll buy.

The new directors cut of 3, which this set includes, is actually decent.

Wait for it to be $15-20 and you'll have this arriving at your doorstep.

I bought this trilogy (with a 4th disc with special features) on Blu-ray about 2 years ago and finally got around to seeing these movies last month. I don't recall how much I paid, but a lot less than $50 for the UHD version that probably looks the same as BD. (I'll have to check my Amazon purchase history from 2020.) I don't know how much the special features has been updated with the 50th year anniversary.
