Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

That plan can never get addition lines, Paid or Free. If you only need 2 lines then continue. If you think in the future you will need more lines then junk the plan.
When it first came out years ago I was eligible for the free line promos. I currently have 2 free plans on there. I was just hoping they decided to allow it again. I don't think I will ever change my plan though. I have to many other promos I want stacked to it.

I was denied. I'm on the One plan with 2 paid lines. I was hoping to get a line for my daughter who will be needing a phone soon. I asked why I was denied and they said they couldn't disclose that information and this promo was meant for a certain group of people.

Been with Tmobile for 16 years. Requested about the free line, and they said they'll credit back the $35 since I've been a loyal customer. So now I'll have a total of 9 lines.

I got the deal, but was told will send a physical sim in mail. Did anyone else have the same response.
Yes & I asked for a sim b/c I don't have an extra sim lying around. The total came out to $38.11 for me.

I was eligible with Simple choice 4 paid lines and 1 free. The rep was asking where I saw the promo but I just played dumb and provided the promo code from here.

Can someone educate me please - while I get it that the line is free, it still requires a $35 investment to activate the offer. What is the benefit of this free line though - at the moment both myself and my wife each have a t mobile original magenta plan that we are each paying $60 for, so $120 a month billing under one account. So, if I invest the $35 (if I am eligible for the offer) how can this free line help me?
I have the same question since I just learned that I cannot cancel one of the 2 paid lines that I have. What is the point of adding this free line?

I mean if you don't need it you don't need it. It could be a house phone, a guest phone, a hotspot phone.
I offered a previous free line to a family member for their kid, they refused then a couple years later regretted not taking it. $3 a month is nothing.

I am on T-Mobile One plan 9-12 lines.

I got the following response.

I see what you are saying 😊, this is regarding the Free line Christmas offer by T-Mobile.

It shows in your account that you are one of the lucky random customer who is eligible 😊.

Alright, before we proceed I would like to discuss the conditions with the offer.

Once you took advantage of the 2022 holiday unwrap offer by T-Mobile you cannot cancel a line within 12 months, once you cancel any line in the account the offer will be remove.

This free line offer will works regardless of your rate plan 😊, even you change your plan in your account you will still get this offer and this is a lifetime offer as long as your lines are active.
Does anyone know if canceling a home internet line would count, or does this only mean canceling a paid phone line? We already had T-Mobile home internet, but signed up for the $25/month offer last week. The agent told me we had to keep the existing home internet for at least 30 days or we would lose the promotional rate on the other one, so he set the existing internet line to cancel 30 days out. Hoping that won't mean we lose the free voice line.

I gave some to my relatives, and keep one for foreign friends and relatives when they visit us.

Chatted with Tforce and I was eligible. Thanks for the heads up, OP!

I'm on the One plan with 2 paid lines + 4 free lines. Still had to pay the $35.
Did you need to provide an IMEI phone or they'll just send SIM card?
