Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

I think I must have gotten the slowest rep on chat. It took 46 mins but got it added.

No free line for Magenta Max military. I really should have just stuck with the regular Magenta since all these free lines they have given out have made regular magenta cheaper then the military plans.
i feel the same way.

Chat rep kept saying that the promo doesn't exist. Guessing that my account isn't eligible (Magenta Max 55+).

I have 2 paid lines and 1 free. If I add this new free line, can I cancel one of the paid ones after 12 months and switch to the free one?

I called T-Mobile customer service at 611.
The rep told me I was eligible for the free line promo with a $35 one-time activation fee. She tried activating it but got stuck in the verification process and told me that I had to stop by a local mobile store to complete the activation.
My Plan is Tmobile One FRLTULF2

worked for simple choice

Not sure if this will affect others, but since I don't have a device to use with it immediately, chat rep says we have three months to start using this free line or it'll be terminated/expired. So need to find an affordable device soon!
I specifically asked this and was told "There is no time limit, you can activate this line any time."

how to obtain this free line? Did you call customer service or did online chat with customer service?
chat from the tmobile app. took about 6 mins to connect, and another few mins for them to look up the promotion.

Magenta Max plan with 3 lines.
No luck.
This is from the chat with the rep:

Your account has been with us for a year, and since the promotion sort of works like a raffle, the better the standing and tenureship with T-Mobile the higher the chances you may receive this promotion.
Your broad understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.

This is new from our back office and we do not have the full details yet as T-Mobile initially wanted this promotion to be something like a surprise to our existing customers. As far as I heard, this will go on throughout the holidays, keep your lines open and you may be one of the valued customers that may receive a line for free.
