Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Can anyone see the new line on their account yet? The rep said it's processed - but nothing shows up.
I was going to ask the same question. It's been about an hour and a half and hasn't shown up on my account.

I just finished chatting with my rep in app. He said everything was set, but because of the high volume right now, it'll take a bit for the email to show up.

Looks like its high time I switch simple chouse to Magenta Max. I am not eligible for this promotion or any new phone offers. I pay 108(including taxes) for 5 lines and this include $10 Unlimited international statewide calling.

I figure that If I can get Magenta Max for about $160 it will work considering netflix($15)and potential new phone offer. Any strategy I can use to get that price or below? They are offering it to me for $200 including this free line which make it 6 lines but I feel this price it too high.

If you can get a TMO Insider Code, you can bring it down to $136 for 4 lines on Magenta Max.
Try calling a store near you and talk to the rep and see if he can get you one.

Note: Then if you are still eligible for this free line promo, you can get 5 lines on Magenta Max for $136

Thanks OP! Just added free line to my Magenta 1.0 account. Have 3 paid lines, 2 free. Now 3rd free line. Paid the $35 for the SIM card. They required the IMEI, so I gave them one of an old iPhone.

I have T-Mobile one and called them and somehow they were able to override a bunch of stuff and get my extra line approved. The order is pending but hopefully I get the line tmr. They said my account shows I'm eligible for the free line. Was also able to waive the $35 activation fee and didn't need to provide IMEI.

I did chat and get a free line added. But they did not ask me for the IMEI. They just shipped a SIM. Anyone else in the same boat?

I'm sure you can port in any number over to the free line.

Never noticed…. I've had Simple Choice for 16 years now, and am paying $90 for 5 lines with unlimited 5g data. Hard to go wrong.
