Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

It seems the best grandfathered plans are Simple choice with 6GB or 10GB base plan, and then tack on the free upgrades over time that upgrade their lines to unlimited or extra GB. Back in those days it was 4 lines for $100 (or slightly more for larger data). Some folks here also had corporate discounts, which T-Mobile discontinued a while back but still allow for "grandfathered" users. I think the people here who brag about their very cheap rates have stacked these promotions overtime or very avid T-Mobile promo chasers.
Very True- I have the Simple choice 10GB plan for 10+ years, grandfathered in along with many others. For those complaining or unaware, these FREE LINES did require some work and effort to build into our existing plans. I've had to transfer my family members "adding a line/ port over from Verizon and AT&T" in order to obtain the Free Line on us. Never had any issues with them forcing a change of my plan, just be courteous and respectful, and confirm over the phone with the rep that your PLAN will not be changed. I called in today 611, the rep took care of the "add a line" promo in less than 10 mins. I paid the $35 Sim fee and did not have my IMEI available. Thanks OP!

I'm currently paying $195.20 + tax for 9 voice lines - and i cant complain about staying loyal with Tmobile. Im impressed that some people have 8+ lines for less than $20/ per line, super amazing pricing for those who put in the effort at opportune times, and no other carrier offers these grandfathered programs perennially so Tmobile should be commended for honoring their word and trying to build largest market share AND providing very good cell coverage service. HERE's A TIP for those of you seeking to build these promos: 1) Add a "t-mobile" deal alert within SlickDeals to get notified when these various promos are quietly offered. 2) Be sure to check promos beginning few weeks prior to BLACK FRIDAY all the way up to end of December...Over the past 4 years I've been able to add 4 free lines thanks to the help of the SD Community. These Free Line deals are rarely posted on the main website "Deals" section..but I have found all of mine via true SD'ers. Each time I did it, it was near the end of the year...

Upon checking here grandfathered plan is not yet included on our free line promotion and our request were just submitted and still waiting fir the approval. I chatted with 2 people. Both of the them are saying the same thing. Is it true that Simple choice Grandfathered plan is not eligible?

Tmo One with 8 lines here (some of which are Free On Us). The rep via chat basically said they couldn't add another line because One was capped at 8 lines. They did offer to cancel one of my existing lines and add a free one, but my worry is that my Free On Us lines would get affected. Am I just being paranoid?

This is a targeted promo, so if your account didn't win the free line lottery you are out of luck and have to try again tomorrow.

Plenty of simple choice users have posted confirming that it works. Is posted on the very first page.

Not sure about this time, but in the past for all service promos, there used to be a requirement that if you had canceled any lines in the last 90 days, then you have to reactivate that line first before you can add the new line with promo.

Switch to Verizon.

I'm chatting with them now.

Pretty much, $30 per line for unlimited data, text, talk, and hot spot.
$10 credit per line per month for 3 years ($360)
If you have Fios internet with them, then another $10 per month credit.

so for the next 3 years, you're looking at $10 per line, then $20 per line.

I"m doing it for my 8 line family accounts with t-mobile.
that's an insane deal i guess. could you share more details please. I do have fios internet with them and have 8lines on my family plan. Are the t-mobile phones compatible with verizon or do we have to buy new phones?

I called them and the rep offered that since I just added a line, and if I would like to trade in a device for new one. They did charge me $35 for added line and another $35 for device as well which I upgraded on a different line. But still worth it. They couldn't waive this Device connection charges.

T-mobile has not provided me the credit for my 2 trade-in devices I sent them 7 months back. Fighting my battle since then. Any idea on where to escalate the issue to get it resolved?
T-Force on Twitter. But apparently they're slammed with this promo. Otherwise you need to get in touch with the executive team.
