Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

It seems the best grandfathered plans are Simple choice with 6GB or 10GB base plan, and then tack on the free upgrades over time that upgrade their lines to unlimited or extra GB. Back in those days it was 4 lines for $100 (or slightly more for larger data). Some folks here also had corporate discounts, which T-Mobile discontinued a while back but still allow for "grandfathered" users. I think the people here who brag about their very cheap rates have stacked these promotions overtime or very avid T-Mobile promo chasers.
I had asked them multiple times about adding a free line whenever the offer pops up in Slickdeals but the answer had always been no. I guess loyalty does not count with these corporates. Had I switched back and forth I could have gotten better deals. As I said earlier T-Mobile sucks. 😠😠

Yes. It's like $6.
For those of you who have Simple Choice and just added a new free line, does your new line also have data plan? I remember many people were complaining there is no data added (only call/text) when they add a new line to their Simple Choice plan.

Is this a t-mobile One Plus? 2 lines for 100 + 1 free line minus 10% discount for using less than 2 gig per paid line?
This for magenta max with 10 lines and now I'll be 11 with this new free line.

I give up. Just called 611 and they said they can't even find anything with "2022 BYOD Line P1".

Someone posted this link earlier in this thread. https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...on-us.html

I went there and then logged into my account. I chatted with a rep and they looked and said I was eligible for a free line (currently have 6 lines on my account). I don't have a spare device so I reserved the free line and it's ready and waiting for whenever I want to activate it. It's not on a contract. When I went through and checked it out it did appear that I was adding another line and would cost me $25/month. The rep assured me I wouldn't be charged though. Also was not charged the $35 start up fee either.

We'll see. I saved the chat transcript should the worse happen.

I got the promo on my old school Simple Choice Family Plan. I called T-Mobile (611) regarding a different issue. After resolving the issue the rep offered me the promo. He said it includes unlimited call, text, and internet just like my other lines.

Did anyone else get the $35 waived? I tried with 2 reps and it was a no go
Conditions of this deal is you must pay the $35 fee. Not a huge price to pay for a free line.

I'm on T-Mobile One Military plan and didn't qualify for the free line but they offered for me to add a 7th line to my account and would give me 20% off my total bill so that made it cheaper than I was paying for 6 lines.
How did you contact them phone or text? What you told them? Any insight would be helpful. I called and texted without any luck.

"2 lines one plan all in promo"
(2 lines for $80 + 1 free line - 10% discount per paid line with less than 2gb usage)

Has anyone with this plan been able to get a free line?

Thanks.

P.S. talking to reps may be a waste of time. If reps are offshore, high chance mistakes will be made.

Is there an way to swap the number from a paid line to the free line? I have 2 paid and 2 free line on the One plan. They all have Kickback. The free lines are sitting in a drawer for years so they have 0 data usage but still can't get kickback $10 off as they are already free. The 2 paid lines can get kickback but they don't as they get used more than 2gb. Anyone know a solution to this? Thanks
You can add those two free lines as second lines on each of you phone. And change to use data from the secondary line and primary for calling. This way your primary line will not use any data at all and you get the kickback on two lines. this is how i have done it, with iphone its real simple.

Reps don't seem to have much of a clue how their own promotions work. Got one that said no to this and offered BOGO, but didn't answer my questions on terms and conditions. Had to step away, got reconnected on chat and that offer vanished for buy two get one line free. Seriously, none of this makes sense. Seeing people in here with 12 lines and half of them are free paying only 120 a month and they can't even toss us one free line. T-Mobile is turning into a joke.
