Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Said I was eligible when I chatted. Tried to put it through and because I am already on 8 line, adding a 9th means changing my OnePlan and doubling my monthly rate. No way they getting me off 3 paid lines with One Plus promo, and 5 lines free.

For those of you who have Simple Choice and just added a new free line, does your new line also have data plan? I remember many people were complaining there is no data added (only call/text) when they add a new line to their Simple Choice plan.
First rep add success, then fine out no data. Chat back second rep inform that my SC no longer available. So new line don't have data. She also inform that system will move my plan to other plan.

Last week when I chatted with T-Force on Twitter, it took like 30 minutes to get each reply.
Now it's been 1.5 hours and no response after the first message.
Rep on the app told me I was not eligible.

why waste time calling? just chat in the tmobile app. if one person says no, disconnect and chat with another
Does this actually work? Tried twice and wasn't eligible both times. Don't think I'll magically become eligible

I have the same setup. 8 lines with the One plan. I think we'll never be able to take advantage of free line promotions like this.

For those of you with grandfathered simple choice (4 lines for $100) family plans that are eligible for this free line promo, did anyone happen to ask whether taxes/fees are included? I've added several free lines in the past, all of which do not include taxes/fees. When I called 611, the rep confirmed that my simple choice plan is eligible for the free line promo and confidently assured me taxes/fees are indeed included for this particular promo. Given the fact that all my other free lines from previous years do not include taxes/fees, I am a bit skeptical that it's actually included. I asked for something in writing and the best she said she could do is notate my account.

I am still in the chat with the rep. He keeps saying the data is there, everything will be the same. I am hesitating to pull the trigger. Frown

Does the 12 month no cancellation term count home internet lines as well?

I called in to ask about the promotion and was confirmed that my account is eligible. But instead of adding the line through the phone and pay the $35 DCC. I went online to my account and added a new line with eSIM without $35 charge. That generated an instant new line for me and I can see the promo code being applied automatically to that line right away and my bill still stay the same.

"2 lines one plan all in promo"
(2 lines for $80 + 1 free line - 10% discount per paid line with less than 2gb usage)

Has anyone with this plan been able to get a free line?

Thanks.

P.S. talking to reps may be a waste of time. If reps are offshore, high chance mistakes will be made.
agreed. those offshore CSs are the worst part of tmo...

I chatted via Tmobile app, my account is eligible for free line. Spent 1.5 hours and the rep told me there was an issue: "There is an issue of matching details with your account details. Due to the security reasons." That rep said the issue was with my credit card information and I have to go Tmobile store.
