Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

So how are you going to resolve the issue? Are you going to remove this new line soon or ask them to add data plan? Thanks for helping out!
I was able to select Unlimited Data for my new Simple Choice line today.

For those of you with grandfathered simple choice (4 lines for $100) family plans that are eligible for this free line promo, did anyone happen to ask whether taxes/fees are included? I've added several free lines in the past, all of which do not include taxes/fees. When I called 611, the rep confirmed that my simple choice plan is eligible for the free line promo and confidently assured me taxes/fees are indeed included for this particular promo. Given the fact that all my other free lines from previous years do not include taxes/fees, I am a bit skeptical that it's actually included. I asked for something in writing and the best she said she could do is notate my account.
It is probably not included and I'm guessing the rep you talked to is fairly new and has no idea about legacy plans before the magenta taxes included. So they wouldn't think there are plans that you hand to pay extra for taxes and fees.

On the other hand, simple choice is not eligible for auto pay discount but with the high speed internet they are giving me an auto pay discount, so I guess it may be possible that taxes and fees are included…

T-mobile has not provided me the credit for my 2 trade-in devices I sent them 7 months back. Fighting my battle since then. Any idea on where to escalate the issue to get it resolved?

First rep add success, then fine out no data. Chat back second rep inform that my SC no longer available. So new line don't have data. She also inform that system will move my plan to other plan.

I'm not sure what I was on. It was a while ago. I am now on TIULFM9. I've been on that for a while. I'd have t-force make the move, as they're less likely to mess it up.

Just in case anyone needs it, SOC list:

That plan never gets any of these deals... it's too good and they want us off of it
It is good but not the best.
in 2016 or 2017 they offered 2 for $100 + 2 free lines. Then they had free additional lines 5 times I believe. Free lines are about $5 each, so 7 or 9 lines for around $150 or $170

It wasn't listed on my promo page, but I hit up the chat via the tmo app. I have Magenta Max Amplified, 2 lines, for about 6 years. I qualified and just finished processing it.

I had a similar issue like a year ago. T Force on Twitter has helped me with every issue I ever had including that. They finally just credited me for the trade ins even though the post office lost them.

Taxes and fees will be extra. The reps these days aren't knowledgable about the ins/outs of Simple Choice.

Reading through this thread just makes my head spin at how complicated companies can make essentially the same exact service. Cellular service companies are some of the worst. All these myriad convoluted brandings for an internet pipe and cellular phone service.

If we had a true democracy and any level of actual regulation then all the companies would be required to stop playing these games and just quote the lines, services, minutes and other basics in plain English. Who has time for this?

How did you contact them phone or text? What you told them? Any insight would be helpful. I called and texted without any luck.
I used the T-Mobile app representative chat. Told them I wanted to see if my plan qualified for the 2022 BYOD Line P1 promotion for adding a line for free with credits. I was connected with Navdeep. Navdeep said my plan did not qualify for the promotion but they offered me the 20% off my complete bill for adding an additional line.
