Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Can I do a change of responsibility for a line and then move it back as a free line? I'm on magenta military
I tried, my Magenta Military was not eligible. Have seven lines plus internet.

I have magenta max and insider discount and it worked for me. Not the lowest, but I pay 136 for 8 lines. 3 paid and 5 free.
Just went to the store and got them to add it. They didn't make me pay the $35 fee, she said since it's byod they don't charge. Will they remove the promotion later on because they didn't charge me?

1 person added a new line yesterday and saw "2022 byod line p1" on that line today without contacting cs at all...

I have 8 lines with T-Mobile one, ($160 5 paid, 3 free) and I'm eligible, but I need to move to the 9-12 lines. Not sure how it will affect my overall total though.

Adding a free line requires $35+tax non-waivable fee.

On Magenta Max here, 3 free lines. Just added another free line using this promotion.
Went through chat with Tmobiel app chat, fast and easy.
Good luck.

BTW, I saw this promo on Reddit, ppl seem to have problems qualifying this promo with older plans. Magenta and Max plans are more likely to have this promo.
Same outcome and process

How are you using the 200mb data for life lines? I have like 4 of them. I really want to figure out how to get some free watch lines ;-)
I would.love to know what to do with them. Unfortunately, I don't even think the tablets work anymore... (Some LG ones from way back).

I have an LTE watch, but couldn't justify paying more for a feature I'd barely use.

Current rep that is helping me is telling me they are waiting for documentation from management on whether the promo can be added. maybe I need to call back tomorrow to get a different call center location.

I did this through chat and they have to mail a SIM card. With that, I don't see the new line on my account yet. Does that take time? Did it about 12 hours ago now. Can't see the promo either. Magenta Max customer.

Seems im eligible but cannot add 2nd line to my current device.
just give them the imei of any old phone you have laying around, that you are not using. Once you get the sim card, you can call them back and put your current number on e-sim and use the physical slot with the new sim.

Not sure if they will let you put the new line as an esim on your current device, because it's not a "BYOD" phone.

T-Mobile must be swamped by people looking into this promo. Long wait times on app chat and T-Force.

Stick those sims into older phones and load the TMobile Tuesday app. It really pays dividends when you get free Dunkin gift cards

BYOD just means that you're buying a SIM card and not getting a phone on a payment plan or promotion. They shouldn't actually care what phone you use or whether it was already on the account. It's all irrelevant.

Should make your bill cheaper as the free line discount increases.

I figured I wouldn't be eligible on the old One Plus Promo 2/$100 with Insider and Kickback because it's never eligible for anything. I tried the chat anyway and the rep told me he would "put me on the wishlist" and I'd be notified when I become eligible. There's no way that's a real thing, but I thought it was funny.
