Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

T-Mobile One plan here.
The rep said that I was eligible for a free line yesterday. Now, as of today I see the promo added to my account

It could take up to two billing cycles for the discount to show up. They'll retro the credit though if you end up paying for it the first cycle.
Either that, or the rep was mistaken and they didn't actually qualify.
My discount showed up as soon as my line showed up.

Chatted to confirm I was eligible yesterday and then went into my account this morning to add a BYOD e-sim line on my own this morning. Was charged $0 (no $35 fee). This will be my 6th free line on magenta plan: https://www.screencast.com/t/7RqGuLEZ
Thanks OP!

I have 8 paid lines on Magenta Max. Currently paying $320. The rep said I would need to upgrade to the 9 - 12 magenta max plan. They said it would cost me $360 on autopay with a $30 credit.

Basically I'm paying an additional $10 for a "free line" this is dumb.

I'm a store manager for T-Mobile… There is actually a deal that they are not advertising that involves a completely free line for select accounts. No need to add a paid line to get the free one. I haven't figured out what makes an account eligible or not, we have to manually check every one we pull up.

I was able to get the $35 credited back once I saw the new number on my account. I told them I want to activate esim and won't me needing the sim card.

That plan can never get addition lines, Paid or Free. If you only need 2 lines then continue. If you think in the future you will need more lines then junk the plan.
I had to convert from that to T-Mobile ONE to get free lines. Also got the benefit that it was converted to the ONE plus promo plan so I had double the speed for international roaming

I just signed up 4 lines yesterday for Magenta Max with insider code. I tried chatting but not eligible. Not really surprised since we just became Tmobile customers yesterday.
I signed up 4 lines on Magenta Max last week and yesterday I was able to add the free line.

Now $136 for 5 lines with Insider Promo

Copy and paste, or screenshot
Screenshot would take too long because it's too many pages. I tried individually selecting every message and hit Copy (the only option it shows) and then pasting into a text editor, but nothing was ever in the clipboard.

It appears T-Mo doesn't want people to have a copy of their chat transcripts in the app. That's a big downside I didn't know about.

I couldn't copy from iPhone tmobile app, so I did record screen and scrolled through page by page
Anyone know how you do a screen record on Android? In the meantime I'll Google it and hope to find an answer.

I was able to copy and paste just fine on a laptop. Are you chatting on a phone?
Perhaps just screenshot the important tidbits.

Just had success via chat on the website. Easy and painless. Before going through the process I inquired about a credit, and my rep obliged. So I paid the $35+ Tax, then he added the credit for it to my account.

we have the ONE plan - this is the 2nd free line using these promotions.
We pay $190 for 7 voice lines(now it will be 8), and Netflix with 4 screens. With kickback on one line. Hoping to move my kid to this new line, so the kickback line doesn't go over 2gb and I get my bill down to $180.

Interestingly enough, I was able to take advantage of the offer for my line #9 (10 if you count the home internet). They upgraded my plan to a 9 line plan and added it with no issues.

What if I have Magenta Max 55+ (one line) and T-Mobile Home Internet? I'm looking to add an Apple Watch line.
