Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Just chiming in that my Magenta 1.0 (opened a couple years ago) w/ 2 lines paid was eligible. The promo wasn't on my account but after chatting with them through the app they said i was eligible.

I have 8 paid lines on Magenta Max. Currently paying $320. The rep said I would need to upgrade to the 9 - 12 magenta max plan. They said it would cost me $360 on autopay with a $30 credit.

Basically I'm paying an additional $10 for a "free line" this is dumb.
If you convert to 9 lines it will be 40x9 = $360 - $40(free line) -$40(auto pay) = $280 . Experts here can correct me if i am wrong. I still think you should go ahead and do it.

So I was eligible for this plan but already had the max # of lines on my old One plan. I had a chat with a rep who switched my account to magenta, added the free line, and switched me back to my One plan in order to get additional lines. I was extremely sceptical and worried my kickback feature will go away but all seems okay for now. She said all my previous perks will show up in a day or so. Had to relink my Netflix subscription since plan changed. If this works, I'm really impressed by the agent who helped me. Usually it ends up with accounts getting screwed up with a costlier plan.

CS said i qualify, but then they would have to switch me from Simple Choice to Essentials..

Can anyone comment on the Essentials plan?

From what i've read its deprioritized first on cell towers.

SO this is a great deal. here is what I got when I called.
I had 9 lines before I called and can have up to 12 lines based on my credit line.

Agent gave me 1 BYOD line free for my Magenta plan plus he gave me 1 free line has he checked there was a promotion for BOGO 1 line free so I got 2 free lines. $35 were charged for each of both lines but agent gave me credit of $70 to my account.

Now for 2nd free line, as it was not BYOD, I was able to purchase iPhone 12 which was priced at $630 - $250 for new line so for $380 divided over 24 months, not a bad deal at all.

Hope this helps someone!

I was able to copy and paste just fine on a laptop. Are you chatting on a phone?
Perhaps just screenshot the important tidbits.
Yes. In the past I've used a desktop PC and TForce via Facebook, IIRC. I don't use social media except for stuff like that.

This time, based on previous posts saying there are multi-hour waits on TForce and the app chat was having some success, I tried the T-Mo app for the first time. I had to resort to voice to text because I can't type on a phone. It appears copy and paste doesn't work on the phones in the T-Mo app.

However, after Googling I saw I could do a screenshot and then quickly pressing that double arrow down button which shows up many times. I was able to screenshot the entire chat in 1 very long JPG file. Good enough.

Need a bit help here:

I see under https://www.t-mobile.com/account/promotions -> Service Promos

Code:
(123) 555-1212
2022 BYOD Line P1
Enrolled
But under https://my.t-mobile.com/account/plan-details I don't see the 2022 BYOD Line P1 at all:

Code:
$10 AutoPay Discount
$28 2022 T-Mobile Insider P5
$15 AutoPay Discount (Additional Lines)
$12 2022 T-Mobile Insider P5 (Additional Lines)
$30 2022 Line On Us P2 (Additional Lines)
Will the 2022 BYOD Line P1 discount show up later?

PSA for those with kickbacks for using low data:

If you have a phone with dual sim (2 sim slots or 1 Sim + 1 eSim) get a free line, then use this or any previous free lines in the same phone. Have the data be used using the free line so your paid/kickback line never uses any data and you always get a kickback for it.

Interestingly enough, I was able to take advantage of the offer for my line #9 (10 if you count the home internet). They upgraded my plan to a 9 line plan and added it with no issues.
Nice. 9-12 is the superior plan also as your bill should be even cheaper.

Despite all Tforce agents and most app chat agents saying I don't qualify, I decided to give it a shot.

The promotion shows up under services. Although, I'm not sure if it's a bug or not. It doesn't show under my plan details yet. I believe there is a good number of people who are seeing the promo even though they were told they weren't eligible.

Additionally, one promotion under plan details disappeared. I'm not too worried about that though as I think a similar thing happened to me from previous LOU promos.
