Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

I heard the same thing yesterday, and I'm on the same SOC (10SCFM4) and got it today. I also have +2 free voice lines from a few years back.

I still have my 15% Corp discount, so I plan on keeping it for as long as I can.

I'd suggest trying back either later today (as the billing system updates?) or maybe tomorrow/Monday.
Does the free line discount show up for you?
Slightly unrelated, but I had to remove my Corporate discount yesterday to get my Home Internet $25 monthly bill credit to show up.

Where do you obtain an insider promo?
There is a mega thread in the T-MOBILE REDDIT where codes are sometimes posted. Might be easier though if you have multiple lines to port in from another carrier, just call or go to stores in your area to see if any employees will give a code if you open lines with them.

Just trying to do it on a grandfathered, older 55 plus program account and wasn't allowed... This account was literally set up like a week or two before they made changes a few years ago.

I called in the morning and was told that there is no such promotion, and she couldn't find it anywhere. I have provided both Holiday unwrapped and Promo ID 2022 BYOD Line P1. The lady couldn't find it. I decided to chat via T-mobile app. The agent on the app clearly knows what I am talking about. I just told her that I want to utilize the promo with Holiday unwrapped and Promo ID 2022 BYOD Line P1. Then she asked my device IMEI with her. Shortly after providing this info, she was able to put me on the promotion. The whole process took about two hours via chat, but it worth the wait for getting a free line.

PS: It is the holiday season, be nice to the agent whether they are able to assist you or not. I am sure they have been hit wit this promotion. Sometimes, they didn't communicate with their staffs, and they wouldn't know. Just say thank you and hang up. Make another phone call or chat to get assistance from another agent.

I was Tmobie One Plus promo customer, I got the free line added by rep. When I logged into my account the plan is now changed to Essentials 4 line offer. Did they screw this up?

So for the Magenta Max 9-12 plan
no autopay : $400
with autopay : $360

I'm currently paying $320 for 8 lines with autopay on the Magenta Max family plan

Upgrading to a 9-12 plan will cost me $360 with autopay - $30 free line credit effectively making it a $10 line instead of a free line since it will cost $330/month. This is all according to the rep.
Free line credit will be $40 for Magenta Max, since I am seeing $30 for my regular Magenta plan. It will still be free for you. Try reaching out to another rep.

Can it be used on my one plan if I have a number to port in?

Yes, they royally screwed up.
I would contact T-Force on Twitter/Facebook and get them to reverse the change.
Wait times are pretty crazy right now due to this deal, but T-Force are the best of the best.

so yesterday i did app chat, tforce, and called 611, no go for me on One Plus promo with 10 lines, today i did app chat again and was told no again, but all of a sudden i got a call from "customer care" 800-937-8997, he said he's the supervisor, and he said he'll try to get this added to my account, he said 99% that he's gonna be able to get this free line for me and will call me back next monday. not sure how real this is, but we'll see next monday. just hoping that he'd really add this free line for me and not just add a line for regular price.

That's pretty cool, if true.

If you're talking about with this promotion, not yet, I just got the order to go through in the past few hours. I suspect I'll see it by Tuesday when the SIM is delivered.

Interesting point re: Tmo HI. I already had Home Internet which I signed up the in-laws for, so I've already got "a line" with it, and from what I have read, I can't get a 2nd Home Internet line @ $25.

If you have given up your corporate discount, I'd suspect you could find another plan that rivals Simple Choice 10Gig -> Upgraded to Unlimited.

No. It is rare they offer insider for existing customers, I think January of 2022 was the last time. The insider codes they are giving employees currently are for new customers (those who haven't been on t-mobile for 90 days).

You might check if you are eligible for a home town discount (see this page [t-mobile.com]). It is also 20% off each line you add from the stores listed.

I am on the standard Megenta (not Plus or MAX) for 19 months with 2 paid lines and was able to add our 1st free line, via calling 611. Rep did not ask for IMEI and ordered a new sim to be sent out. She also waived the $35 DCC fee simply by asking (she had to get her supervisor to authorize the waiver, though).

I checked my account online and only saw the order for the sim, but nothing on the new line yet. Hopefully it will show up the next day or so.

Is data included or I will have to pay separately for it?
I was told the free line will have the same data as all the other phones in your plan. After lookiing at my account, that appears to be true. I'm just waiting for my SIM to be shipped to me now.

I messaged them and they changed to unlimited data for free. Guess I will find out tomorrow if that really the case
