Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Were you able to add the line to your T-Mobile One plan, or is the line one of the Magenta ones?
T-Mobile One, not on a magenta.

Did you see at any point during the order process a promo or discount code? I am on a Magenta 55+ with only 2 paid lines. I went all the way to the last step to add a line and I see it will cost $35 a month. I was told I am ineligible by Tforce and T mobile chat.
No, nothing showed. I even got nervous because there was nothing due upfront. There was no indication until I got the text after activation.

When I do the exact same thing on exact same plan it wants to charge me an extra 30 bucks monthly.

Do need to select esim or can I select physical sim?

Where do I get the esim? It asks for device IMEI
If it is a Iphone, it shows 2 IMEIs. IMEI2 is the esim. If it is samsung, it displays both IMEIs and clearly shows which one is esim.

I asked T Force on FB messenger if i got the promo, and they said yes. They also said they would move me to the 9-12 line One Plus plan since I was maxxed out at 8 currently. Paying $35 connection charge and getting it as an esim for my S21 Ultra, which currently only has a physical sim for it.

I was able to add new line via chat (gave them IMEI#) yesterday afternoon and waiting for the sim card that is shipped. Do see new line in the account, do see a new phone#, did get congrats text and do see "2022 BYOD Line P1" promo applied under device promos. Everything looks great.

However, rep said to call back or reach back when get new sim card so they can activate on the new line. I am confused since everything looks great on the account can I just insert the sim card on that device and start using it (will this not activate this line) and everything should be good to go? Is there anything left on their end as they said to reach back to activate?

My plan went up by $20 when I added the new line. It just went back down to the normal price so I feel pretty confident now.
I wonder if they picked accounts that don't have heavy usage. Three of my 5 lines are almost never used outside of wifi. Giving me another free line will cost them next to nothing while bumping up their subscriber "numbers".

Can someone point how to add a line and apply promo myself, I don't see anywhere to apply promo when I try to add a line and showing $20. Also I have few physical sims ...is there a way I use them ??

This is great. The method of activating a new eSIM line and waiting for the promo worked. I activated the new eSIM line on my iPhone, which already has my personal and business T-Mobile lines on it. The eSIM activated, and I used it to send a text and watch a couple videos. About 15 minutes after placing the order, I got the text message, and the promo shows on my account.

Very happy about this, because I was livid at T-Mobile for how poorly they handled this promo. I really can make use of this additional line for someone in my family who needs a new line. After a couple weeks when their Mint plan runs out, hopefully I can easily move the eSIM line.

It'll show that on checkout because the promo isn't applied yet. The promo gets applied after you activate, which is why the comments about balls of steel, nervous, etc.

I think I am on the same plan. Website calls it "2 Lines ONE Plan All In Promo" and I have a third line I got for free several years ago. When I try to add a line it also wants me to switch to a Magenta plan, stating that they no longer sell my plan. But my current plan is $100/mo (or less with Kickback) and the Magenta plan is listed at $160/mo. Even if the new line is free, that's still $40/mo more than I am paying now. So I guess we're stuck.
accountedI am eligible for this promotion which was confirmed by 4 Tforce reps.
I have one plus promo plan and was able added online with $35 activation waived.

Yup, I agree. Same here. Switching to magenta plan from the one plan all in one promo seems like a bad idea but then we can never get any of these lines. I pay $80 for 3 lines with insider discount. It will be foolish to move to magenta and pay more. I guess we will stay put. I have my one son on mint mobile due to this T-Mobile restriction.
If you are on the one plus promo plan SOC FRLTUL2LP T-mobile has told me that this plan has a hard 3 line limit, and no way around it.

You are lucky you got in the extra 3rd line, because that is about the best deal you can get in the 2-3 line category if you have insider + kickback.

You go to "Shop" on your account. You can go to it via the app or the website. When you add a line it'll show your cost and no promos. So it's a cheek clenching moment.

Once you muster enough courage to hit buy it'll process the order. If doing an e-sim you'll activate the line. 15 minute after you activate the line you'll get a text saying the promo is applied. Until then, it will look like there's no promo. It's 15 minutes of wondering if you screwed up.
