Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Actually my BOGO promotion is not applied but T-Mobile will have to honor it as convo was on recorded line with the rep. I will also ask for credit for screwing up my account so win-win for me for sure as they want me as a customer with 11 lines now.
Idk I get told I qualify then told I don't don't count on that. I've had recorded line and screen shot conversations they didn't honor

I was told multiple times I do not qualify but I'm willing to take a shot myself online. However, when I try and add a line in the website, I get a $40/month cost. Anyone know why? I on the 2 Lines ONE Plan All In for $100
While adding, you will see the cost of a new line according to the plan you are on. If it works, and if you are adding an esim, you should see the promo on your account within 10-15 mins. If you don't, give it at least a few days before canceling the new line.

For some reason it will not allow my esim from my Samsung S22 to work when trying to order online. I am assuming since this promotion ends tomorrow I can just order online and do a store pickup for the sim card and it will be within the allowed sign up time?
If you are copying and pasting the esim imei #, it doesn't work for some reason. Try deleting the last couple of numbers from the imei you've pasted and re-type them.

Are there reports of the promo showing up days later when adding an eSim?

I went in a TMobile store yesterday and asked them to check if I was eligible. The lady checked and said No I don't see the Holiday deal for you. I told her No it's a promo for free line if you BYOD. She said "Oh yeah you can do that. I thought you were talking about the Holiday deal, but if you bring your own device we can add it for free." Unfortunately I don't have another phone and have no way to acquire one before the deal ends. But sounds like it will be easy if you just go in the store. She wasn't looking at anything in my account when she said Yes. Sounds like if you just ask you'll get it if you have certain plans. She did mention the $35 device connection fee so I think she knew what she was talking about.
If you have an iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, or later; or a Samsung S, Z, or Note series from the last couple of years, your phone should support an esim. You can add a line and activate on esim within minutes by yourself via your online account. This is even better than asking T-Mobile as you don't get charged the $35 DCC if you do it yourself. I was told that I wasn't eligible by 4 different agents on chat and 611. I went ahead and added the line by myself. I could see that the promo was added to my account automatically within 30 mins.

If you can't go the esim route, just add a new line online with a physical sim order. You will have then placed your order before the promo end date. Good luck

I'm not sure. All the reports I've seen here and on Reddit have seen the promo added within 24 hours. I believe you have up to 14 days to cancel a new line without charges. You could also try your luck by calling 611 and saying that your were told that your were eligible in store and they told you that you could add a line by yourself online. Maybe, the agent might manually add the promo then. If not, then ask them to escalate the issue. I'm sure T-Mobile would just give you the promo at some point, if you keep asking nicely. If that doesn't work, you could then cancel the line

The rep put the new line under the $15 6GB data plan. I had another chat with them, and it's now free unlimited 256kbps ♀️. I asked about the high speed data, he put me on a ticket for it. Is anyone on the same boat?

Edit: the line is now on 3GB 4G data plan, even though my account plan is Simple Choice 4GB. Apparently that's all they could do. Any insights?
The rep did that to me as well. They added the $10/month data plan and the $15/month 6GB hot spot but told me I would start getting credits for those in 1-2 months making it free.

Anyone have luck going to Magenta from SC after adding the free promo line and then getting another free line for the upgraded plan?

If I select physical sim instead of esim, do I have to wait for the new sim card to arrive, or can I activate with the extra physical sim card I have at home already?

Was told my account was ineligible via app chat, Twitter and Facebook.
Placed order for physical sim on 12/16, received shipping confirmation and text saying I will be getting promotional discount.

Discount also showing in account under service promo.

So if my new line that I've just added shows the 2022 BYOD Line P1 promo, then I should be getting the monthly discount to offset the $30 cost right? Because I asked tforce and they're telling me otherwise. For the record, everyone I've chatted with said I don't qualify for this promo, but I went ahead and just added the new line to my account anyway, and I did get the text about the promo.

For those that ordered a SIM and are still waiting to see the promotion show up on their account, I just received this message from T-Force...

"Hey there! Thanks for circling back with us on that offer and the expectations to make sure you have everything taken care of to receive your free line.

This offer is a limited time offer and has had a huge response but our system and process is still the same for this offer as our other promotions. For you, that means that 2-3 days after SIM arriving you can expect to see promotion enrollment messages. Because we are still in non business hours, what you are seeing is totally normal and exactly what we expect.

After the promotion enrollment messages, you will start seeing bill impact within 1-2 bills and any missed credits will be retroactively added so you get full credit for that. I hope this helps to clarify! Let me know if you have additional questions."

Yes you can call and port in but need to be clear to port into the existing line to just change the number and not port in to add a line. Triple check with the agent and it will work.

Call the Number transfer Center 24 hours a day / 7 days a week 1-877-789-3106
Do you know if it is somehow possible to swap the numbers between the free and paid lines. I am asking because I have a free line from many years back which is not used much and it has kickback on it but it doesnt get the kickback discount as it is already free.
Whereas the paid line also has kickback and can get that discount but it is heavily used, so doesnt stay below 2GB

thanks
