Purchased a version of this before. The shorter tower that holds the curving/twisting lanes disconnect often. Cars fly off the tracks if not at the right speed. It became more of a hassle than actual fun. Do not buy.

Got a similar track some time ago and these things are frustrating to play, especially for kids. It's hard to control the speed of the car with the trigger on the controller. Go a bit too fast and the car flies off the track at the curves. Most of your time will be spent picking up your car and putting it back on the track every few seconds. Adult-level finger control is needed to get that ideal speed, but that speed isn't fast enough to maintain excitement. Also, it'd be nice if the track for each car intersects each other at certain points on the track to mimic crashing into each other.

Bought this for my son and gets boring quick. Also second that the cars fall off if they don't carry enough speed. Wouldn't buy again.

I 2nd this comment. We got as a gift, it was very disappointing. Used once, stashed in the closet ever since.

I thought the same thing when I was reading some of the reviews. But a lot of people said they often come off the track at the loops, away from the shells.

You're referring to a slot car track. This is different--it is a Hot Wheels-style track, where the cars are propelled by a simple plastic launching mechanism. This is much, much worse.

I bought this a couple of months ago, put it together, and immediately disassembled and returned it, as it was nearly IMPOSSIBLE for my kids or I to make the car complete a lap. It consistently falls off in the turns because the launcher is so poorly designed. Perhaps the worst toy purchase I ever made.
