I've played the Rush Royale series, Iron Marines, Vengeance, etc. tower games but keep playing BTD6 because of the weekly events.

Cool things is you can play online, and the Android/Windows versions play together just fine. Once you get well past round 100 though the power of that AMD Ryzen and an Ethernet cable versus a Chromebook with a wimpy processor or phone on WiFi begins to show and you just really play online anymore, but that's well past any reasonable session.

BTD6 has been a paid game and doesn't have ads besides their shop on the event list. They have offered the game for free like this off and on.
