Eligible means non TMobile based. Tello and Google Fi are TMobile based and won't work. Get a Visible, TracFone, Redpocket (ATT Sim only) or perhaps H20 will work. I've used Visible for this deal quite a few times and it worked very well. Visible numbers were $5 for a trail back in the day I don't know if it's still the case.

Tracfone T-mobile customers would not be eligible, but Tracfone wants all of its customers to move their service to a verizon sim

Going to a metro pcs store is like going to a used car dealership, first you need to find a corporate store that has the device you're looking for, then you need look like you're actually interested on keeping service for months, if they are suspicious you're only interested in getting the device and run away after the first month, they would prob just tell you device is OOS (hurts the store metrics if you don't keep service after first month)

After that the sales rep would probably try to put your line on highest monthly plan,since Metro doesn't publish on their website the necessary plan for these deals. Following that, the rep will try to pressure you (or add without even asking you) insurance on your devices, or even lie to you and tell you it's necessary in order to get the free device

basically it's a whole ordeal dealing with them

ACP Customers can move where they want to and like you said TracFone being Verizon, a customer with a number would qualify to use this and like someone said why so low specs as was the case in 2015? A lot of people are sick and tired of buying a name. Metro start offering like Xiaomi and OnePlus phone deals for people to switch to your service!

Agree, don't bother with it. you not gonna save anything from a group of jerk, corporate store might be better, those authorized stores Will definitely rip you off.
