I haven't purchased stuff from Microsoft store before - so a very basic question - apologies in advance - but is there any way to purchase this bundle on Microsoft and add it to my iTunes library? I do not have Xbox and this bundle is $30 in iTunes.

It is not MA, does not port to itunes or other services. You can only watch on Xbox and windows PC, Microsoft does not make apps for other platforms.

I am a fan of MS in general but would not buy video there unless MA or screaming deal (like Friends for $10)

Limited app support (eg no AppleTV or iPhone)

If you have a Samsung TV, Microsoft has the Movies & TV app to watch your library.

Edit: Nevermind just Xbox app gaming. Too bad.

This is simply not worth it. When buying digital movies that are not MA compatible, you should commit to one single platform so that it is easy to start streaming quickly. If you spread them out because of discounted prices then you will only end up having to search different services to find a particular movie especially when your library starts to grow. Imagine having iTunes, Vudu, Google Play, Amazon, or Xbox/MS. That is a lot of services to find a particular movie you own that is not MA.
