FYI, you can get the same filtration by purchasing the regular V15 with the extra accessories, then you can buy the official HEPA filter (once it is back in stock): https://www.dyson.com/support/jou...970013-03. This filters down to .1 microns vs the standard filter (.3).

How does this compare to the Samsung bespoke cordless vacuum? I bought her the bespoke for Christmas and wanna get my wife the best vacuum as we currently have the dyson V6.

I have the V10. I looked at the V15 but to me on some carpets it had to much suction and was difficult to roll. It wasnt all carpets but some. I had to use lower power which kind of defeats the purpose of having more sunction power. The Laser Fluffy head will fit and work on a V10.

Have a V8 and was tempted to get one but will pass after reading this..my V8 is still going strong and works well

You better let them use their own vacuums. They broke the cyclone tube off my 15 year old Dyson that is almost unkillable. Luckily I can still buy used parts off eBay, try that with any of the Amazon only brand vacuums.

Opted for the V15 Detect+. It seems identical except that it filters down to .1 microns instead of the .3 from the v15 Detect. Be aware, the v15 Detect+ is only available directly from Dyson and they do not extend the offer for the extra attachments that they are doing for the regular v15 Detect.
