Anyone else finding the Series controller uncomfortable? Primary the hybrid D-pad, my thumb hurts. I'm debating if I should just use my old One X controller since I don't use the Share button

How hard are you pressing the buttons? It's not the best dpad for every type of game but it's not uncomfortable to me. I liked the One X a lot at the time but once I went back and forth I realized the Series just feels more premium in every way.

Xbox one controller was better than the series controller for sure. And, personally, I think the tank that was the 360 controller was better than Xbox one.
