Missing something? You're missing the entire point, bud.
The A15 has an RTX 3050 Ti while this has a full wattage 3060, the difference between the two being that of night and day. Also, A15, as the name suggests, is a 15.6" laptop while this is a 17.3", this one's screen being better than the former's.

Genuine question: Wouldn't it just be better to buy the ASUS Tuf A15 Ryzen 7 6800H on sale at Best Buy for $700 and just upgrade the RAM and storage or am I missing something?

Apparently you can pay it off under Payments. And also there doesn't seem to be any penalty to pay it off right away. This may be a good idea then. Thanks!
