After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

I traded in my mother's 7 plus during black friday when Google store offered the bonus, and got $242 for it. Originally it was $250 but dropped a few bucks. Its best if you wait for them do that deal again because they even had iphone 6 on the list. You may have to wait until next Fathers day or black friday, but the phones are almost worthless otherwise.

If you put the Fi SIM into a different device, it will be detected and you risk losing the promotion eligibility.

I just did this for family during the Black Friday deal when theyw ere offering extra trade in value bonuses. Ordered 2 new Pixel phones using my google account, and sent in their 2 old worthless phones separately for their trade-ins.

On top of that, I used pixel superfan codes for the orders, so Google Store gave me $100 coupons to their store for each order. Wasn't sure if that would work but a friend said it worked for him.

So basically i traded in 2 worthless phones and ended up with 2 new pixel 6a phones + 2 pixel A-series earbuds

NOTE: my deal was through the Google Store, not Google Fi, so their policy may not let you do 2 promos on the same account. Contact their customer care. They will probably allow it since all other carriers offer their deals per line instead of per account.

I traded in my iPhone 11 64Gb for a Pixel 7 PRO 128GB, total cost to me after taxes is $43 on top of that 60 days of Fi service is $40. This one is a better deal than BestBuy's Thanksgiving deal, IMO.
