After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

Do you need to provide the port in number while ordering? I wasn't able to see anything to provide the port in number. Do we need to give the Provider and phone number for Port in?
You just need the phone number

Read through this whole post and another and couldn't find this specific answer.
I just did the previous google store deal to get 2 6a's and a 7. Traded in an iphone 7 for a 6a. What would happen if I returned one of the 6a's and did this deal to get the 7 instead (iphone 8 to trade in). Any idea what type of a refund I'd get from google store. I am assuming I'd lose out on the previous trade in value and also the superfan credit/code. I realize I could always try to sell the 6a locally but would prefer a return if it's not a loss.

I never typed any PORT-IN num while ordering. I used the coupon code and I saw $200 off port-in offer in my order detail, I guess thats enough to assume once order shipped, I can put Google FI sim in it and start transfer process. Does anyone knw if device will be unlocked after 60 days?
I also ordered a Pixel 7 on a current Fi account and did not see anywhere to enter port-in details. The phone arrived today without a sim card. My Fi account shows the promos but no mention of any port-in requirements. Both promos ($200 off & $250 off) are only requiring the phone to be activated within 35 days. Not sure how to activate the phone on Fi without a sim. I have the Fi sim set aside that came with my Fold 4. The Fold 4 has yet to meet the promo requirements so I'm reluctant to try activating the Pixel 7 with the same sim card.

Anyone have an educated guess on when a 6a might start being taken in trade toward a 7 or other devices.

An existing Google Fi account didn't need to put in a number to qualify for all the promos. Instead, when the phone arrives you simply had to activate it, perhaps on esim Rather than physical sim, to move your existing Fi phone number to the new phone.
So perhaps your phone will use esim when you activate it. And no port in would be required if it's just going to move your phone number from an old phone to the new phone.

If you returned one of the phones, I imagine you'd just get refunded whatever you were charged at the time for that phone. And then if you never send in the trade in, they would never give you a refund or any bill credits for it.
I can't see how there would be any other consequences since a return is certainly normal and permitted.

I don't have Fi but I use an unlocked pixel 7. Can someone tell me what's the trade in value of it to get a 7 pro (for both new fi customers & existing ones) ?

Return refund has already been completed.

You could let them 'unbox' their new phone, use it for a few days with their SIM and maybe 'borrow' it for 10 mins, swap with GoogleFi SIM, activate and then remove the Google Fi SIM.

Remember though that:
- If you insert the Google Fi SIM on any other phone, during the next 6 months, it claws-back your Port-in discount.
- You'll need to keep this line active for the next 6 months - this could be as less as $20+taxes if you're on a group plan.

Is it 6 months or 60 days?

Anyone esle received the phone it was not in retail packaging, shipped like replacement would be shipped via insurance/warranty just phone and sim opener nothing else?
My Pixel 7 arrived today, in unopened retail box.

Also, there is no physical Fi SIM included; it activates via the eSIM.

So perhaps your phone will use esim when you activate it. And no port in would be required if it's just going to move your phone number from an old phone to the new phone.
Your response is greatly appreciated. Will give the esim activation a try.

Yes as far as eSIM I am aware but mine was not in the box but packed more like a replacement phone with no accessories. I opened case with google, if they provide me with some kind of credit and refund overnight shipping I will keep it if not I will send it back. Done multiple fi deals and never had this problem.

Perfect timing! I am trading in iPhone SE 2020 that has a battery degraded message with 87%. I was wondering what to do with it.
