After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.
you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).
Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

Do you have to keep service for 3momth to be on the safe side?
There is a timer on the site that actually tells you how many days left you have to meet the promo. Once you complete it feel free to cancel.

My Pixel 7 arrived today, in unopened retail box.

Also, there is no physical Fi SIM included; it activates via the eSIM.
how do you deactivate the settings so you can use a sim card from a different provider? Will a physical sim override the esim?

Which is the easiest and cheapest trial line i can get with a smooth porting-out process. Someone advised ting but I can't find trial sims in BB or Target near me. BB has free shipping to store but takes a week. I am receiving my phone tomm so want to get this activation over with. I saw a Mint trial Sim card for $2.00 at Target online. Is it easy to port-out of Mint trial accounts? I also saw USMobile has free trial but there are some horror stories regarding porting out from USMobile trial accounts. Any tips very much appreciated. Also would be great if anyone knows of an option which would save me a trip to store for the physical sim card. - I don't have E-sim though-

I think technically Google voice doesn't work because terms and conditions say it needs to be a talk, text and DATA phone number port in.

I actually used a google voice number last year for a port in, but they have cracked down I guess.
$300 off due to Port in is provided immediately at the time of making the order. That is not a rebate later. I used by google voice number and the invoice already deducted $300. I assume they will not add it later.

So I'd like to provide a summary here to make sure I'm understanding and also to clarify/offer up data points.

I've been with Google Fi since 2016, love it, but customer service has gone seriously downhill, regardless, the reception in my area is excellent and I travel quite a bit so love the flexibility of the data plan working.

Here's my analysis of the deal (I also got a pixel 7 for myself and a pixel 7 pro which I will be giving to a friend).

I am currently on Google Fi, bought the Pixel 7 for myself for $599-$200 (promotion)-$250 (trade in promotion bonus)-$149 (trade in value for iphone SE 2nd Gen, turns on, not cracked). Total cost $0 for the phone but needed to pay ~$80 ish for a used iphone SE on ebay, so net cost is $80 ish PLUS a few dollars tax on price of Pixel 7 PLUS 2 months service (which I was already paying).

I also bought a Pixel 7 Pro for my bro who signed up with his gmail: $899 - $300 off (promotion) - $250 off (trade in promotion) - $330 (trade in value for iphone 11 64 GB, turns on, no cracks). Total cost for phone is $19 +2 months of service (~$40) + cost of iphone 11 (still haven't figured out what to do, might try that Metro PCS deal someone mentioned for $140 ish?).

Besides keeping plan active for 60 days/2 months otherwise they claw back the $200 for Pixel 7, $300 for Pixel 7 PRO, you must open the device, put the actual FI sim into it to active, and then you can do whatever you want with the device but you CANNOT put the FI sim into another phone for at least 60 days. Also prob not a good idea to put a different FI sim into either of these phones, but other network providers SIMS into these phones should be fine.

If you do more multiples, your actual phone plan cost goes down because when you have 3 ppl on a group plan its $25/line for Simply Unlimited plan. If you have 4 lines, it's $20/line.

I tried stacking the $20 referral bonus they always have but it is not applicable with the $200/$300 promotion.

Did I miss anything?

That seems right except it doesnt come with a physical sim card and like its an esim activation for FI based on other comments.

Can anyone confirm they've activated a physical sim, or esim, from another carrier after activating their FI line without issue? for those of us that bought the phone and want to use on a different service.

OP here, I received a physical sim (in a Google Fi retail pack) with the P7. Maybe they ran out of those and started doing esim activations due to the popularity of this deal.

When a physical SIM is inserted, the Pixel 7 will use both SIMs by default; you can specify which SIM is primary for calls and SMS, and which is primary for mobile data.

e.g. You can leave the Fi SIM as primary for calls and SMS and use the physical SIM for mobile data, which will keep the Google Fi charges at the minimum on the Flexible plan.

Was the Sim in a separate package? I just received the standard pixel box

Ok. Just making sure so Google can't rescind the promo for some sort of technicality.

Are you able to fully disable the esim in favor of the physical or nah?

No it only applies for one per account.
My phone will be here tomorrow, once I activate it, can I then order another one as an "existing customer" as a second line on my new fi account?

You can add a second line even before your first phone arrives.
Your first line will be considered "existing customer".
The second line that you add will be considered as "new customer".

Every line needs its own gmail account.

I activated a new line in a local boost mobile store. Out of pocket $225 I got a boost mobile "renewed" iphone 11 with one month of $60 plan. The phone is in great shape and unlocked. As soon as I came back I placed order of 7 pro with trade in. This deal is not shown in BM website so I guess it's ymmv.
Is this BM phone unlocked?

OK so this seems to be getting a little more tricky as it evolves. I guess no really good deal comes easy right. Phone should be here today or tomorrow, my intention is to activate the new Pixel 7 on Fi but use it with another carrier, hopefully by just putting the other carrier SIM in. Fi does not have good coverage in my area (although I may test it out a little to see) Seems the whole eSIM thing might mess up my plan. I have never used eSIM before. Seems there is conflicting opinions on if it is still going to be possible to use a physical SIM from another carrier without potentially messing up the promo discount.

I don't expect the eSIM to affect the promotion at all, but will know for sure once the Fi app updates in the next day to reflect that my eligibility is still good.

(Activated eSIM yesterday and added a physical SIM, set to primary for data)
