After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

I got a Pixel 7 but I decided not to keep it so I am just going to sell it. Would it be possible to remove eSim after activation or that would basically disqualify the promotion? I am thinking if I sell it with eSim on it (turned off), the new owner might just turn it on and use data, which will charge me. Alternatively, I can buy a $10 Fi sim card to physically activate it and then just take it out before selling. Any ideas which one makes more sense? I haven't used eSim before so pretty new to this.

I'm new to eSIM as well. If I were in your shoes, I'd activate the phone using a physical SIM but I'd check with Fi support first that Fi system will recognize that that particular physical SIM was activated with that phone. With my previous Fi deals when they shipped the phones with a SIM, you have to activate the phone with the shipped SIM because it was paired with that phone's IMEI in Fi system.

Oops, code requires a Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro purchase. I have a Pixel 7 in my cart.

Which review did you watch? The camera blind test at MKBHD and other sources, put Pixel on top. And iPhone is in 3rd position. Even the cheaper Pixels: Pixel 6a for instance rate higher on camera than the iPhone's.

I also have both the iPhone 11 and Pixel 7. The camera aren't even comparable with the Pixel being far superior.

Half the time I just see people thrashing Pixel/Android devices and extolling the iPhones without any sound logic.

Similar situation here, except it's approaching 48 hours since I received the "Service activated" email. I did contact Fi support yesterday, and they said all looked good on their end and to wait 24-48 hours.
I'm not worried; I, too, suspect that their system may only be watching for the IMEI associated with the physical SIM slot.

Again, I'm not worried about it. My port-in is complete and it would be easy to confirm that the phone was activated in accordance with the promotion.

They don't care. I've traded in several phones still locked to Tracfone without problems. The recycler/refurbisher that process the trade-in phones probably has software to unlock any phones.
