After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

Does this offer work with the Flexible plan? Just want to make sure before I commit. TIA.
Flexible plan qualifies. Turn off data if you don't use it. Taxes and fees are around $7 each month depending on your location.

I went with the "existing" member while mixed in with the S22 deal. I only have 5 days left and just ordered the P7 today. I expect it to come mid-next week, which should then work out with timing of activation of P7 + 60 day countdown. Wish me luck!
I have 42 days left on my 120-day deal and 21 days left on my 30-day deal. Can't do what you did.

I am an existing Fi member which I received 3 months service as Google guide, expiring in 40 days.I used a boost number to score a new Ip11 at $125 out door.Used that to buy Pixel 7 using the trade in for 330 for the metro ipn along with PIXEL2022. I got that phone at 158.I have to remain 1 month in 20usd plan to be completing 60 consecutive days. So, my total cost for this Pixel 7 is,

125+158+20-330= (-27)

Literally I got paid 25USD and change along with a Pixel 7. Slick for sure.

My total cost

but it still shows ~100 kb (kilobytes) of mobile data for both phones (I ordered two).

Why and will they charge me for that?

I thought maybe it's some telemetry they snuck through immediately at the first power on.
Won't be fair if they charge for that since I did everything possible to avoid data via cellular.
Out of the box, Data was automatically turned on when the phone was powered up, before you had a chance to turn on WiFi. So it probably used 100KB in that split second. At $10 for 1GB, the cost of 100KB is $0.001. They won't charge you for that.

Activated and ported the number yesterday.

and the "activation" and "port in/transfer" steps on both promos are still not marked as completed despite them having been activated and numbers having been transferred yesterday.

How long is it supposed to take?
Give it at least 24 hrs. It seems like Fi updates the countdown in my accounts everyday around 5PM Central.

Thank you for the info, I have paused the service on main line should it be active to add the new line and make payments?
I'm not sure... I added the new phone and then paused the main line.

I've never done a group plan. Does each line have its own new/current Fi member status, or all members of the group are considered existing Fi members when placing their orders.
Unfortunately, they are considered new members... so you get the longer required service period.

So the advantages of adding them to a group plan are the lowest monthly cost and sharing any Fi credit that the account has. But the drawback is not getting the referring credits that you would get if they had signed up using separate new accounts. Is that correct?

Plus, in a group, you can share any Fi credits that you have as a result of a trade in.

FYI, noticing a weird thing, could be google fi system error, I have successfully ported in my TracFone number to Pixel 7 eSim which is showing on slot sim card 2 with IMEI, sim 1 card slot I have no physical sim card it showing unavailable with different IMEI,at this point everything looks good, however when login to my fi account on details section it shows my sim card 1 IMEI not another one with number.

Can anyone also check if you has same error on your account?

yes, it is a common problem and i am facing the same issue where it shows two phones in my account instead of one as i activated fi on esim since there was no physical sim. i have raised a complaint and i'd say you do the same. google need to fix this and i hope if enough people complaint then it will catch their attention. and my guess is, you'd not be eligible for promo as physical sim IMEI is still not activated as per them.

I activated my P7 yesterday using the eSIM and a GV number port in. I didn't put any physical SIM into the phone. I just checked my phone:
* In About Phone:
-Phone number (sim slot 1): Unknown
-Phone number (sim slot 2): my GV number
-SIM status (sim slot 1): Not available
-SIM status (sim slot 2 ): Google Fi
-IMEI (sim slot 1): 1st IMEI listed on the box. Also matches the IMEI listed in my Fi account.
-IMEI (sim slot 2): 2nd IMEI listed on the box. Not listed in my Fi account.

If the physical SIM you put in your phone is NOT a Fi SIM, then the phone itself knows about that SIM but Fi doesn't know anything about it.
