After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

HEADS UP for those who don't see their activation and countdown in Fi Status. THANKS TO BIZKIT_120 for finding this. I can breathe easy now. Wheww!

Looks like for the P7 deal which has two separate promos, Fi moved the check off items from being listed openly under Fi Status-->In Progress and put them under the individual promo items. Click on each promo entry and it'll list the status. See screenshots below.

Another key point is to refresh the webpage, or if in app, to close and reopen. Often you might be using an older cached version of the site which wasn't updated to reflect the current status.

Not sure if I understand this. Your status was just updated today? Or has it been updated and you haven't checked before?

Was the process of checking the countdown timer and activation confirmation different in the previous Google Fi deals.

You seem so organized and have all the details so I'm surprised that you didn't see this before. Also does the system still show 2 different IMEIs, one activate for eSIM and the other not activated for physical SIM? Thanks for sharing the details with everyone and the screenshots. Very helpful.

1. I've been checking the status of my P7 deal since activation on 12/23, but I did not find the checklist items before today so I don't know when the status was updated.

2. The info for the P7 is displayed differently from my other deals. With the S22 deals, there's only ONE promo (buy the phone, trade-in is optional, stay xx days) so Fi listed the checklist items directly under Fi Savings-->Progress. With the P7 deal, there are TWO promos: one requires buying the phone, stay 60 days; one requires trading in an iPhone. So, Fi decided to put the checklist items under each promo, which is logical, but I wish they/the reps would tell us how to find that info. I didn't click on the promo items because they didn't appear to be clickable, and the S22 deal doesn't show it like that. I guess the old dogs always follow the old trails.

3. I just checked my Fi Account-->Your Plan and it shows only ONE P7, not two like someone else has. When I clicked on the P7, it displayed the IMEI1 (which is tied to the physical SIM).

More screenshots below Big Grin

Please let us know how it turns out. With my S22 deals, the phones were shipped with a physical SIM installed, and Fi checks to see if THAT SIM is activated then updates the action items. The problem with using a store-bought Fi SIM is that Fi may not be checking for the status of that SIM. They know that the phone number was activated (like they do when we used the eSIM) but they aren't checking the status of the store-bought SIM.

In one of the Reddit threads, someone activated their P7 with an eSIM and the activation was not checkmarked. So he went tp BB and bought a physical Fi SIM and transferred service from the eSIM to the physical SIM. The transfer was successful and the phone works with the physical SIM, but the activation item still was not checkmarked. He had to escalate the issue to the Promo team and got it resolved.
Update on activating P7 with a physical SIM card from Amazon. I activated the phone with the sim yesterday and today both promos show the phone is activated and I have 60 days left to be eligible for them

Wow thank you for all the info gentlemen! I didn't know you could click on the google fi promotions -200 -250 within the app! So should I be worried now, I activated my service since the 12/22 with transfer from GV and everything works. But the check box for activate & transfer still unchecked.. and even tho it shows one person one device on my account if I click on my device it shows 3 lol a google pixel . A pixel with the number I transfer and the future iPhone for trade in .

Log into your Fi account on their web site and check. The Fi app doesn't show all the details.

I am in the same boat. But I did get the checkmarks for while which later disappeared as outlined below:

1) I activated on 23rd using Esim -and Two Pixel devices were showing- One with IMEI1 the other one with Esim. -No checkmarks in savings, even-though the phone was activated-
2) I put a physical SIM from another carrier in the device. Therefor using the device with 2 carriers.
3) On 24th the checkmarks appeared showing activation and the the device with the IMEI1 disappeared resulting in one Pixel 7 device in my account.
4) Once I saw the checkmarks, I contacted support and asked if I could add a friend's referral code.
5) On 24th I removed the physical sim - which was a USMobile sim card, leaving the IMEI1 slot empty-
6) Subsequently when I checked my Fi Savings, the checkmarks for activation disappeared, and I started seeing 2 devices again in my account.
7) I contacted support and they assured me they can see my activation and everything is all good.
8) I don't know if it was adding a referral code or removing the USMobile SIM which triggered the change in their system but I suspect it was latter one.
9) As of now I still don't see the checkmarks

I am not worried and the phone is active with the Esim. Received my first bill in the amount of $25.49. I would definitely feel better once the checkmarks appear again.

I don't think adding a referral code caused the problems. Have you tried putting the USMobile physical SIM back in?

For my S22 deal, I always had to click on the promo listing in Fi savings to find the details for the steps. It might be a recent update to the app. As I said previously, sometimes it didn't always show the current status. I always made sure to close and open the app or refresh the page. I discovered this when I was checking if my status changed to activated and it kept never showed activation until I refreshed and then showed the updated status. Now I always make sure it's a refreshed page whenever checking anything with Fi.
