After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Do you also see the days counting down? I activated via eSim 3 days ago and see the check marks for the promos and also see the days counting down. I have another phone due to arrive tomorrow and will activate via eSim as well (unless they happen to send a physical Sim which seems very unlikely) After that I am not certain what to do. I would like to swap in the physical Sims from my current carrier and make them our daily use phones (text, voice and data) but don't want to screw anything up. I was intending to just leave the Fi eSim active but make the physical Sims primary for everything. I am also considering just waiting the 2 months before doing anything more and then changing over to the new Pixels once I am certain I have fulfilled all of the promo terms, but old phone is getting sluggish. A lot of what I've read has said there is no issue with using another carrier but not 100% confident on that.
How long did it take you between then check mark for the promos and the days counting down? Did both happen at the same time? Or did the checkmark happen first and then you had to wait some days for the days counting down? Thanks.

I made it my pixel 7 pro my daily driver for last 3 days using the exact method of making the physical sim primary for data voice and text
.it's working fine and my promotions are still active and counting down.

Check marks and count down happened at same time. For me. Both took about 48 hours after activation and port in. I can't be sure since I was not constantly checking but definitely after 2 days I was able to see the check marks and countdown.

Im doing 2 phone like this, both has the same behavior.

I am not sure if it was same day or the next day because at first I didn't know exactly where to look and what to look for but it was within 2 days of activation that I saw all the terms, checkmarks, and the days counting down.

You ordered on 12/23, right before a long holiday weekend. The workers probably will return to work on 12/27. If the phone model/color/capacity you ordered is in stock, it can be shipped on 12/27 and delivered by FedEx on 12/29 or 12/30 depending on your distance from their warehouse. Mine was shipped from IL and delivered in KS two days later.

For people that ordered and activated/transferred phone number via eSIM and is still stuck without "checkmark" and countdown, I suggest you contact customer support and escalate it.

History so far:

1) Ordered Pixel 7 on Dec 20th.
2) Package received on Dec 23rd.
3) Activated the phone and transferred number from Tello on Dec 23rd to eSIM.
4) Contact CS on Dec 24th (after 24 hours) and was told to wait 24-48 hours.
5) Today (26th) and still no "checkmark" and website still says "Activate the device within 33 days".
6) Contacted CS again since it has been 3 days now. The CS person is now escalating the problem to the "Promotion Department" (whatever that means).

They obviously knows that I have service on eSIM (the bill for the 1st month has already been generated and charged to me). I am going to initiate a return by day 12 or 13 if it is not resolved (return period is 15 days). I don't want to get charged $450 just because they are incompetent. I have already spent more time than I would like at this point.

Definitely NOT doing the trade-in unless this is resolved.

How does your activation time say 33 days? Isn't it supposed to be less than 30 days. Mine says activate in the next 25 days, even though the phone has been activated.

I have no idea. It started out with the typical "30 days to activate". However it changed to 34 days yesterday (when I check yesterday on Christmas day). It now shows 33 days for today. Here is a screen shot.

Like I said, I wouldn't trust Google's stupid system to not charge you at the end. Definitely going to initiate a return and cut my loss by Jan 15th (which is the last date for return).

Disregard the "Billing Period" verbiage on the statement. You activated on 12/23, so your 1st bill is available two days later on 12/25. You actually got 2 free days. Fi is prepaid. The amount you pay for the 12/25 bill covers your service from 12/25 to 1/24. Fi's billing period starts the same date each month (for each customer), regardless of the number of days in a month. So your subsequent bills will be on 1/25, 2/25, 3/25. Dec and Jan have 31 days each. If your 60 days ends before 2/25, you can cancel and not receive the 3rd bill.

That's just the weird way Fi and T-mo state their billing periods. Even their billing reps find it confusing.
