After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Anyone traded in an iphone with back cracked/broken ?
Their Trade in screen does not ask for back condition so I selected screen cracked.
But Will they reject saying condition did not match ? Any one has any experience?

It is still hit-n-miss based on other posting in Reddit (someone activated an eSIM on Dec 29th and it still didn't work and shows 2 Pixels).

Anyway, based on that thread's suggestion, I have purchased a physical SIM from my local Target store and did the following:

1) Disabled eSIM on the device.
2) Insert new physical SIM into the device.
3) Launched Google Fi App.
4) It immediately asked if I want to transfer the phone number to this "device". I guess Their system simply doesn't associate the eSIM IMEI correctly.
5) I said yes and it immediately transferred the phone number to the physical SIM.

The phone portion worked almost immediately (i.e. calling in or out and SMS). According to fi.google.com website, I no longer have 2 Pixels listed. "Account"->"Your Plan"->"Devices" only shows one Pixel 7 and another entry for the pending trade-in kit.

Finger crossed that within 24-48 hours the checkmarks and countdown will update correctly. At least everything is now moving in the correct direction. If for whatever reason it still doesn't work, I am just going to start the return process. I don't trust their incompetent CSRs to fix any promotion problems.

I will update again tomorrow or Monday.
How do you dis-able eSIM on the Pixel?

My P7 eSIM activation yesterday got officially recognized by Fi. Both $200 and $250 promo are correctly tracked. ESIM was downloaded and set up freshly when p7 was taken out of the box. No hassle.

After the 2 Pixel 7 Devices showing in my account issue was fixed, the IMEI # corresponding to the psim completely disappeared from my Device details. -On the Google FI app on the phone-

When I check the device details in "Manage Plan" I see the Pixel 7 registered with my Esim #.

However it doesn't show the psim # listed for the device in the device details.

For context when I check the Google Fi account registered with Pixel 7 Pro, I see both the psim and Esim #s listed for the device in the IMEI section of the device details.

Activation status for both promotions in Fi Savings is accurately shown and the counter is working.

I am guessing when correctly activated with the physical sim the IMEI for both the psim and esim should show in the Device details.

This refers to the Google Fi app on the phone. On the webpage my Pixel 7 Pro also shows one IMEI listed when I click on the device details. But the IMEI # corresponds to the psim even though the Pixel 7 Pro was also activated with the E-sim.

Read this post in the Fi S22 thread and the posts after that. Some people sent in phones with cracks and got even more than the quoted value.

They appear to have mostly cleared the backlog.

My trade-ins were delivered to the TN facility Tuesday afternoon (Jan 03), and I just got an email about them having received one of the packages (Jan 05).

Quick question, when does the Fi savings > In Progress > Additional xx off Pixel 7 > Waiting to receive device get a ✔️ . When they receive the trade-in device or after the inspection is completed.

I don't know because in my case I got the "Received" email this morning and the "Inspected/Credited" email in the afternoon. However, I just checked the Fi Savings status of my P7 and it appeared to be "in limbo". There are yellow exclamation marks on "Device Inspection" and "Device reimbursement" which those entries weren't there before. Also there's an entry for "Trade in device by Dec 31" which wasn't there before. Heck, that's only 9 days after they mailed the trade-in kit on 12/22. Due to Christmas holiday, I didn't get the kit until 12/27. I mailed it the same day and it was delivered on 12/29.

See attachments below. I expect that they will get squared away tomorrow.
