After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.
you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).
Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

Log into your Fi account, on the left side click on "Get $20 off your bill", it will show your referral history (if any).

Thank you so much for sharing the screenshot. For one of my accounts, I did get the email from Fi (several days ago) saying that I would get a $20 referrral.
However, I do NOT see the referral when I click on "Get $20 off your bill". It just gives my referral link, but doesn't show any referral history.

Also another question for you, is it possible to pay Fi bill manually before the due date? Right now it's set to Autopay but I want to pay before the due date. Thanks.

Just got confirmation of my trade... badly cracked iPhone SE 2nd Gen but did turn on and was reset. Should have been $139, got the full non-cracked $149 credited. Bought the trade in on ebay for $59+tax.

I've got Fi credit to burn off from doing two cracked S21 trade-ins for S22's, so no additional cost to keep service for 60 days.

Based on my experience (which seems to be different from Bayman's)

* For being referred, the only indication before 30 days of service is that email. After 30 days of service, you'll see it in the Fi Savings-->Earned column.

* The referrer will see the credits listed before they're earned.

Yes, you can pay manually anytime after the bill is available by clicking on this link and clicking on the places indicated by the red boxes in the attachments below:

Thank you so much again. Repped for the nice post and the screenshots.
Makes sense - since I was referred and am not the referrer. So perhaps that's why I don't see this in my referral history.

Also thanks for the payment info. I will make the payment via pay.Google.com

How did they decide how much goes to the cc and how much goes towards Fi credit ?

Your cc gets a refund up to the cost of the phone (after discounts, taxes & fees not counted), then any excess goes toward Fi credit.

The $249 refund to his cc is kind of odd though. Not sure which model/capacity he bought. I bought a P7 128GB which costs $149 after discount and got $149 refunded to my cc. I think a P7 Pro costs $349 after discount and he should get all $330 of his trade-in credit refunded to his cc, unless he used some other promotion.

I didnt want that extra money in credits so ended up buying the 256 GB variant of P7 so they refunded me the $249. You can see it in the email they send you or under google fi account/app.

My trade in was accepted today (metro IP11) with message that $330 credit is issued to my credit card. I got the P7 Pro though, not the P7.

Interesting, did you do a monthly finance with Fi or pay lump sum on credit card?

I don't see this screen & I didn't get the email that others received.

Did you use the referral url or did you enter the code manually?

I also tried calling CS to enter the code manually but I was denied twice & one CS I think just flat out lied to me saying he sees the code on his end. Another said I have to wait 30 days and make the first bill payment before it will show up on my account.

Third CS said the referral code of my first account was invalid which is completely weird. I'm not sure why the code/url would be invalid.
