Order: 2 Pixel 7 s with two iPhone 8 trade ins(separate accounts).

Below is True for both orders:

Bought: Dec 20th
Activated: Dec 25th
Trade in Kit received: Dec 22nd.
Trade in shipped : Jan 4th
Trade in delivered: Jan 11th (USPS: Your item was delivered to an individual at the address.)

still an exclamation on 'Trade-in device reimbursement' in the Fi Portal.
No email from google about the receipt of the trade ins.

First time doing trade in with Google, getting a bit angsty now. Hopefully, they will update soon.

Give them a few days. Prior to New Year holiday, it took 10-14 days from delivery to "received" by the warehouse. They've caught up now, but it still takes a few days.

Contacted the customer support they told me they received my item and inspection should be completed any moment, day now. Asked me to wait 10-14 days.
Looks like I will need to wait until next Monday and contact them again if I still don't get the refund.

Just to recap: USPS tracking shows delivery date as January 3rd, confirmation E-mail was received on January 5th

You should be fine. Takes couple of days to receive the confirmation E-mail that they received the device after delivery.
I also sent a trade-in that USPS shows as delivered on Jan 11th. I haven't received the confirmation E-mail yet neither.

Also you can check in your account under plan. Check the plan and you should see the devices for your account and the trade-in phone should be listed. If you select it, it gives the status. I never received an email that it was received but it was updated here. A day later I received an email that it was received. And eventually the status changed to refunded but I never received an email even to this day. This was around the new year. I think recently they have gotten better as a later tradein device was sent both emails.

Yes I check the status both on the website and the Google Fi app on the phone.

Aren't those two statements contradictory?

At the time I checked the app I hadn't received any emails. Maybe I should not have used never as it was just to reference that time point. I checked the app because it was almost 2 week since USPS delivered and I hadn't received any emails. The app was updated with received status though there was no email. A day later an email was sent it was received and being inspected. And there was never (truly meaning never)any email regarding its status after inspection. The point is the app has the most up to date status and there may not be any email, especially for devices processed around or just after the holidays.

Sh*ty USPS tracking showed up after 7 days saying that my trade in is in Los Angeles. Not sure how it went there when it is supposed to go to Tennesey.

I had a Christmas package sent to me in KS from Austin, TX on Dec 12 by Priority Mail. Should have taken 2-3 days. It went to West Fargo, ND and lingered there for 10 days before heading back down to MO then KS. Delivered on Dec 24, took 12 days.

I selected cracked screen for my iPhone X trade-in. Screen is good but backside has a huge crack.

They processed my trade-in and bumped the trade-in refund from $126 to $149 with notes "Screen Intact"

Lol. Thanks Google : )

At this point, I would be happy if they deliver it without losing it.
