For my other Fi phone orders, I entered the code when placing the order (couldn't do it with my P7 order). Some people use a referral link to create an account. You can try contacting Fi support and ask the rep to add the code to your order. Some people in this thread did that.

December 31, 2022,

No email google has received my device and as far as reimbursement all I get is a yellow ! With device reimbursement and nothing on device inspection..
Should I be worried at this point ?
It should have already been delivered around 12/31 after it arrived Nashville which is the last stop before delivery.

Should have been doesn't always happen. Take a look at posts #835 and #836 in the Fi S22 thread: https://slickdeals.net/f/16215670-samsung-galaxy-s22-with-google-fi-starting-at-299?p=160633435#post160633435

I just received the E-mail that they are refunding $126.50 for the cracked screen Iphone X trade-in.

I have seen 10+ posts on here and on Reddit that they usually refund the full trade-in value -undamaged- even if the screen is shattered.

I can't complain since my screen was shattered and I got what I was initially quoted. Maybe I pissed them off contacting support and complaining that my inspection is pending after 7 days lol.

Another interesting thing, they noted in the Assessed device condition - Device isn't factory reset, which is not true. I have video evidence factory resetting the device.

But they still refund the $126.50 so I don't think I should bother contacting support about it.

Edit: Assessed device condition doesn't mention cracked screen. Only notes Device isn't factory reset, I guess that's why the trade-in value is $126.50. It kind of evened itself out with the initial quote

I selected cracked screen for my iPhone X trade-in. Screen is good but backside has a huge crack.

They processed my trade-in and bumped the trade-in refund from $126 to $149 with notes "Screen Intact"

Lol. Thanks Google : )

I'd go to your local P.O. and ask them to initiate a trace.

I did. They said it has to be done by google. Google says they can't do anything unless 10 days goes by from last scan.

Order: 2 Pixel 7 s with two iPhone 8 trade ins(separate accounts).

Below is True for both orders:

Bought: Dec 20th
Activated: Dec 25th
Trade in Kit received: Dec 22nd.
Trade in shipped : Jan 4th
Trade in delivered: Jan 11th (USPS: Your item was delivered to an individual at the address.)

still an exclamation on 'Trade-in device reimbursement' in the Fi Portal.
No email from google about the receipt of the trade ins.

First time doing trade in with Google, getting a bit angsty now. Hopefully, they will update soon.
Any updates? My trade-in device delivered on January 11th still doesn't show as received.

rec'd FULL TRADE-IN VALUE ($149 vs $139 cracked) email 1/14 Applause

Looks like their processing speed is slipping again. Right after New Year, it had improved to 4-5 days from delivery to inspected/paid out.

I like how you included the pictures showing through the factory reset stages.

That is a good safe guard against them claiming it wasn't factory reset -At least they know you have evidence-
I am sure they wouldn't have claimed that my device wasn't factory reset if I had done the same.

I took videos of me factory resetting the phone but I can't really dispute it because the initial quote was $126.50 -with cracked screen- and they are refunding me $126.50 -no screen issues, but not factory reset per their claim-
If I were to contact support they will simply tell me you are being refunded the initial quote and the case will be closed.

However I have another trade-in waiting to be inspected -delivered but still not in the trade-in system- which is almost brand new. If they claim it is not factory reset, I will definitely fight it, since I have video proof of actually factory resetting the device.

Here is the screenshot for my trade-in. Assessed device condition doesn't mention the screen being cracked. Which makes me think they almost always pay the undamaged price for cracked screen devices. -Except mine which they claim it was not factory reset- : )
