After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

We are NOT suppose to get google fi credit towards bills correct? After contacting CSR since my trade in phone was with usps for almost a month I got a refund into my CC $149, now my phone made it to the trade in facility and they also gave me google fi credit like to use for my bill.

What's the value of your trade-in phone? What's the cost of the Fi phone that you bought? Your cc gets a refund up to the cost of the Fi phone (before sales tax), and any excess trade-in credit goes to your Fi credit.

I got the same amount refunded to my cc and now to the google fi credit. $149 and since the credit kicked in yesterday and my bill is due today they took the $25.79 from that said credit. My first time doing a fi deal and it would probably be my last time ha ha. So many things have gone wrong in my case! I'll probably get those fi credit balance deleted I assume.

A person I know on another forum had the same double credit like you. He contacted Fi support to inquire about his "missing" trade-in phone. My tradein was processed.

Jan 14th - Delivered by USPS.
Jan 19th - Google Fi email saying tradein was received.
Jan 25th - Google Fi email regarding refund credit issued.

Hopefully within 1-2 days the credit card refund will post and the counter on fi website for $250 promotion will reflect tradein.

Same here. I'm really annoyed because I received an email stating that I got the full trade in value of $330 but $149 will be issued as a refund and the $181 will be issued as a bill credit. I'm super annoyed because it did not state bill credits for trade in. My refund of $149 already hit my CC.

Edit to add: This is my first time doing trade in with Google Fi but they explained it to me. If you paid for the phone in full, you'll get a refund up to the cost of the device and the remaining balance will be issued as an account credit.

My trade in value exceeded the amount I paid out of pocket for my Pixel 7 hence the account credit.

Is your trade in only for $149 or what your trade in worth more than that? If your trade in is worth more than the amount you paid for the phone, the difference will be issued as a credit balance to your account.
