Using them for 2 years - very unhappy.
1. Every couple months hub will just stop working and need to be power switched
2. camera quality are sub par - cann get a clear picture of the porch pirate's face
3. worst one - the app is horrible. From the moment you get notification that someone is on your front porch (notification is almost instant - good) you will need 20 seconds before you can get live feed from camera on your phone. And that's on fast WiFi connection. And only if app works at all - often (every couple days) it just won't work - no recordings, won't play recordings, thumbnail preview on camera can be few weeks old
4. speaking something from camera speaker - plus another 10-15 seconds if it will work at all.
I'm so pissed with them. There is only thing they do good - giving you a recording of someone stealing your package while you deprerately trying to make app work.

Do these cameras require a hub to work with Apple HomeKit?
Yes.

Yes, it is. Cops caught my neighbors burglar using my 720 camera footage.
I surprised that your local cops actually make an attempt to catch the bad guys. Cops barely made the effort to file the case for me or my parents, separate incidents and different cities (both middle class areas). Maybe it's just FL LMAO

No it's everywhere in the South. They tell you to bother them if somebody's been shot or if you got some pull at the sheriff's office.

I have a 3-set + base station from Costco a few years ago and they are still running well. I charge battery about every 2-3 months depending on the usage. The night image is not that good so I bought 3 motion lights and installed in the same place. There is a 3-5 second video delay from camera to phone and it makes the interactive talking not possible when someone is at the door (I think this is because the video goes to cloud first then to the phone). Arlo gives you free 7-day cloud video storage. Of course you can download the videos before they are removed.

It gives me peace of mind when I am away from home. I also noticed a few times some people approached the door (for whatever purposes), paused then left.

How are these compared to blink outdoor? Blink provides sync module 2 for local storage.

So I have three Arlo Pros with base stations - will these integrate with those or will I need to run parallel setups?

This is a good deal. In for 1. I have the old original Arlo 720p 5-camera system and it is still running strong. Also have an Arlo Q for indoor monitoring that I've had for years. All of these seamlessly integrate with the Arlo app (now Arlo Secure). Not bad for "on a budget" security, with cloud storage. The old Arlo 720p cameras tear through batteries, so I bought rechargeable CR123a's by RAVPower, and they've been working fine...about a month plus of charge each set. Built in rechargeable might be a little more hassle; if they last longer it'll make it worth it.

you pay for cheaper cameras up front then lose in the long run by paying monthly subscriptions.

Eu.fy for this reason is a better investment.
I have their doorbell, and I was going to get some cameras and maybe a flood light. I'm reconsidering after the privacy issues.

these sync to wi-fi home wifi and are server based; no potential local storage

if you are ok with subscription then get these but these will quickly show their age and inconvenience cause they charge by micro usb and no homekit

delay is atrocious and support could be better; this is a dead end product
