I don't know why anyone would want to pay for this light. I only have one because it came as part of a kit, and I'd have to give it away to get rid of it. It's not bad, it's just that there are countless cheaper, better performing, better designed light options. The light output on this is about as much as a free Harbor Freight light. It's way bigger and takes up one of your DeWalt batteries.

Agreed, this is not a slick deal. Got this as a freebie in one of the bulk tool deals and can confirm that's it's probably one of my worst shop lights. IDs say it's fine at $10-15, but no more.

Well toss me in the agreement pile. Dewalt makes some nice lights. I don't see the point in this one.

Ditto to everyone else.

The fact that Dewalt has the audacity to number this as a "tool" in some of it's kits is offensive. The only thing is has going for it is that it uses Dewalt's batteries, and that it Might not break if you drop it.

Compared, technology wise, to a $25 dollar flashlight I purchased at the recommendation of the flashlight subreddit, this light of Dewalt's is embarrassing.

Personal I used it a commercial hotel job where there was no power in the guest room. I would take it in the room and stand it up pointing up to the ceiling and it lights up the whole room. I think it was a awesome light. It was worth every penny and I paid $80. I was out of state and which I had two. I used it with a 60v battery. Seeing the comments not everything is built for everyone!
