So I think I am finally going to settle on this because I've been looking for an ultrawide with this resolution for a while. This ticks all the marks except maybe refresh rate but I will mostly be using this for work so it might just work. Thoughts? This seems to be a great price and was FP at $349 recently.

I combined this with giftcards I had from pixel trade in and 5% paypal cashback using Chase Flex card and I think I am paying less than 180 out the door. Seems like a great price for curved 34" 3440x1440p resolution with IPS screen

Also available for slightly lower at videoandaudiocenter.com but you have less flexibility if you need to return and probably no cashback option?

This is a great price for a great monitor. I purchased the same spec monitor, but the 144 hz version and paid DOUBLE. If refresh rate is not important to you, then this monitor is a must have. Every time I walk into the room where this monitor is set up, I immediately get a smile on my face. You will not regret it.

Hopefully this works for me. I might use it for occasional gaming but how much worse can 60hz be vs 144hz?

It depends on what you are doing/viewing, but the difference between those two is noticeable. I notice it and that people I know who have switched have also. The jump from 144hz to 240hz is less noticeable and most often, only "professionals" make that jump.

If you have only ever used 60hz and don't feel like there are any issues with your viewing pleasure, then you won't miss anything since you've never experienced 144hz.

I would describe the difference like jogging through a shallow puddle. You know it when you are stepping in the puddle, it's fine because you have a good pair of shoes on, but once you start running on the sidewalk again, it just feels nice and smoother.

haha. Good example. I only use monitor for work related stuff. Honestly don't remember the last time I used monitor for gaming. I usually do that with my PC hooked to my TV.

PayPal + chase freedom flex for another 5% Cashback at best buy. I also used my $5 certificates I had in my account plus the gift cards from recent pixel trade in. Ended up paying $180 out the door.

I posted this in the other thread. May as well put it here too.

I purchased a version of this monitor recently. This is 34WQ60C-B.AUS. I bought 34WQ73A-B for $340.

The main difference from what I can tell is that the 73A has USB-C video port with power delivery, a KVM, and 2 USB inputs. The panel is fine for office work, but the real benefit here is being able to charge my laptop, pass video, and use my keyboard/mouse with a single cable into my laptop.

If you can wait, I'd bet we'll see the 73A under $340 again.
