I have this headset. It works but there are several issues. I couldn't get the THX to work after I upgrade it to Windows 11. I just use the basic drivers and it seems to work but without the 7.1. the microphone for some reason is directional and you have to actually curve it to point to your mouth so that your heard well. Also the range is very poor. I get about 20 feet at best with direct line of sight to the usb dongle. For 35 bucks it's okay but it does have issues.

Thank you OP! I've been looking for a wireless headset that has an actual mute function built into it. There are times when I don't want people to see me muted in Teams, and being able to disable the mic without tripping the indicator on the screen is perfect. These seem like pretty good quality.

I use mine on PS5 daily. I even have a spare one I have never used because it's that good of a headset. Only issue is turning the ear cup(s) can put pressure on your ears or your head if you play with "one ear on, one ear off" often. You can turn off vibration from the PC app if you don't like that also. I recommend highly for the price.

Haha nah I get what you mean. Some reviewers said that too. It mutes automatically when you flip up the mic.

But the description says it has a physical button. And some reviewers said it doesn't.

I use turtle beach stealth 700 for my ps5. they are great but it makes my ears HOT after a short amount of use, though I am typically hot headed (need cooling pillows etc)

will these be cooler?

It's actually one of the few you can stealth mute compared to most of the arctis headsets since many of them have a red light on the mic or other visual indicator that you're muted.
