Hello there, I don't personally own this Balance Bike but the product page says:

Age: 3 years +
Max weight: 25 kg / 55 lbs
Adjustable seat height: 34-45 cm / 13.3-18 in
Hope this helps, Happy Shopping.
If you already have a pedal bike for an older kid, just unscrew the pedals and it works the same way. My older kids (5-6yo) learned in 1 day after pulling the pedals off. Then we screwed the pedals back on and they were 2 wheeling away Smilie

What age would you suggest this for?

I wasn't sure either but I looked up reviews and this one seems ok for older toddlers since it has the bigger 12" wheels. I just purchased it for my tall and soon to be 3yo. There's a smaller 9" version that seems better suited for 18m-2yo (based on what I can tell from reviews off other sites).

Edit: it doesn't specifically say wheel size but I'm just assuming since it says "senior" and "larger wheels".

My 2.5yr old uses this and loved it. I would say this depends on height and weight too.

It lets a kid learn to balance-by-steering first. A lot of kids going from a balance bike to a pedal bike will be able to start riding instantly because they already know how to balance-by-steering. Although eventually, you should also teach them how to mount/start normally, because they'll continue to mount by Flintstoning just like on a balance bike.

A balance bike also lets a younger sibling play along with an older, pedaling sibling.

Great price. It is a heavy bike and the seat is not padded. Good deal for $20

This bike, and others like it, have helped several of my grandkids learn to balance themselves, and learn to ride a pedal bike quite easily, as they got older. They even rode these after learning to pedal. They are small, and there are 3 positions for the seat, and handlebars.

wast of money. get a regular bike with training wheels. after several months take the training wheels off or bend them and in 0-2 hours of help they will be good. this is not really complicated as people try to make it.
