    The off brand pods are pretty cheap, as well as the sponges. You will still be saving a reasonable amount after buying them. The unit with the pods is priced at 121.92

    Are you guys just getting these for the fun of growing things And because you have no garden outside? Because you could just buy organic already grown herbs much cheaper...it looks like a PITA to have to get specific supplies. how much attention do you have to give these things? It would be great to have some clean summer herbs to snip in the winter but some herbs are so easy you just plant them once outside and never have to take care of them like Rosemary, Oregano, thyme... Can summer herbs and vegetables grown in these things taste as good as those Grown outside? or be as nutritious??

    I bought a pack of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B097GRHXXQ 100 will last a while since they hardly break or have any issues. I bought sponges and used my own seeds. You don't need to buy the stickers to cover the sponges, foil is easier and cheaper.

    Yes, they taste just as good. You can grow almost anything in them within reason.

    Different color and the Sam's Club one is round ("360"), but they're both part of the Harvest series. I think it's just a question of whether you want a round one (Sam's Club) or a rectangular one (this one on Amazon). Also a question of whether paying more is worth all the seed pod kits and other extras from Sam's Club

    The drawback of outside for leafy herbs is mine would get infested with aphids. These are pretty low maintenence. Just add water and fertilizer.
