- Allows you to control volume by sliding your finger up/down the stem.
- Has much better battery life.
- Can be charged by Apple Watch charger in addition to Lightning, Qi, and MagSafe.
Sure it looks almost exactly the same, but overall it's a much better product and well worth the upgrade.
The extended warranty will expire on Jan 22, 2023 and purchases made before that will be honored.

I made sure i kept the box and all the accessories. Will be returning it a year or two later when the battery goes bad. Got to love Costco return policy

Have to note, they still havent fixed talk/listen feature for airpods on windows pc. It works well on apple laptops but this is definitely not a headset alternative for windows pcs.
