Even if it's a different state from where I shop now? I will try this. They actually asked me on the phone which city I usually shop in.
I ended going to the store right after opening and got the deal in store. It was really busy when I was leaving for the holiday rush.

Regarding the cancellations, please be aware that sometime in the past year (I first encountered it over the summer), Costco started enforcing a LIFETIME limit on these. So if you ever bought two of them ever, you can't buy any more of them ever. This is what customer support told me over the summer. Previously, I had been fine buying two together a couple times each year. But now all my orders on this item are canceled.

Just had my mother in law try and it didn't work and she's never bought a GC
