I've had this kit for a few years now and it has been great. I actually keep this kit in the house because it's good for those quick fixes and putting things together that isn't needed out in the garage.

Given the price point I'd have to recommend watching for a 25% off harbor freight coupon and buying the icon version of this. I have it and it's pretty awesome, has the flex head ratchet and the extension bit holder can be used to extend the handle of the ratchet itself or turn it into a T-Handle screwdriver. The case is probably a smidge smaller that this as well.

Yes this is nothing like the icon version at harbor freight which is actually a rebranded facom for half the price. The nice thing about the icon/facom is the t handle and the ability to extend the handle on the ratchet. Good quality, just imposible to find

Icon version is cool but doesn't have sockets. Just depends what you need the kit for. I'm looking for a small/light tool kit for a car so would like the sockets. If you can spend a little more check out the Wera Tool-Check (there's a metric and an imperial set):

Does this have SAE sockets? I think they're just metric if that matters.

If they're going to spend that much on the awesome Wera we might as well talk about the ezred 4s04. Best tool of this type I've found.
