There are things you can get away with cutting corners and cheaping out on. A bench that holds you up in a horizontal position while you hoist a weighted barbell on top of you is not one of those things. If it breaks while you're using it, serious injury will occur. That advertised 600lb capacity is laughable. The extra $$$ for Rogue is worth it in this case.

Lol at all the people acting concerned about the 600lb limit. As if the average person can bench press 350lbs to 400+ lbs (depending on how much you weigh).

Also unless you're leaning your weight to either the left or right, which you would have bigger problems if you're doing that, the bench isn't just going to collapse or something like that.

Or you know they will just wind up getting a gym membership like most people, and then they will have saved some money on their single flat bench they never use.

Cheap crap is fine for beginners. Makes a lot more sense than dropping a bunch of money on high end equipment trying to plan out a home gym when you have no clue what you are doing.
