The 240 & 480GB m.2 drives are the same prices.

Be nice if they had the m.2 1TB SATA in stock for the same price, at least for people with a second or 3rd m.2 SATA port motherboard.

Yeah, I know speeds don't matter, but clean looking and might as well use the port if available.

The m.2 version appears slow. Wonder the reason

Having DRAM is good. It stores a copy of the Flash Translation Layer, basically a map of where all the data is stored in the flash memory. It helps increase performance and lifespan of the drive. The WD Green is a very low end drive.

I'm looking to drop one of these inside a old xbox one x...would that benefit from dram and do you have a suggestion for a inexpensive ssd with dram?

I'm not familiar enough with the Xbox to know how much of a difference DRAM would make with it. One of the cheapest reputable drives with DRAM is the Crucial MX500, which has been around $66 for 1TB lately. The OLD WD Blue 3D and its counterpart, the SanDisk Ultra 3D, are another option but I think they may have been discontinued. I'd avoid the new WD Blue SA510.

Gonna chuck one of these in my parent's old Dell pc to try to save it. It is 11 years old at this point and slow AF, but since all they do is browse and stream music it should be fine.
