I own one of these. The craftsmanship is perfect. The blade holds an edge for what seems like forever. I don't know how easy it sharpens yet.

If you use your knives and don't know what a button lock is or how it works you might want a different knife. The button is really easy to bump/hit when you are using the knife. In my opinion it is a terrible design if you actually use your knife for cutting. The button lock is a great way to cut fingers off.

I have 7 Button Lock knives including this one, not a single problem like yours.

Perhaps you are an expert at button locks. I am not and I find it easy to hit the button with my thumb while using the knife.
