This is the Director's Edition, which is much better than the regular version available on the Xbox Game Pass. I'm glad I waited until now to play this game as I didn't want to play the original version.

Google search "steam deck heroic game launcher" and there's lots of easy to follow guides. It's still a bit of a hassle, but nothing like installing Windows to get your Epic games running on your Deck.
