FYI, this has been this price since November. It appeared as a holiday promotion located in the gift bar area of HD. If this set hits $15 then it'd be a SD. At $20 it's still good but not spectacular.

FYI, I have this and have used it a handful of times. The screwdriver handle broke almost immediately; its cheap pot metal and the top of it broke right off. I still use the ratchet occasionally.

Have this, can confirm it is trash. But trash often gets the job done.

A junk screwdriver doesn't make that set any less junk.

Put both sets side by side and you won't have any doubts which is worth having.

By the way, the GearWrench case is actually fine, you just need to put a rubber band around it.

I almost got the GearWrench one ( it was posted on here a few weeks ago for $16 I think) but a bunch of Amazon reviews mentioned the crappy case so I passed. Don't really have a need for it now. The first Husky kit I bought hasn't broken yet, and the adjustable wrench comes in handy when you have to hold a bolt while using the sockets.

Are these made for children or the vertically challenged? I mean $20 for that many pieces is pretty good and should hold up to the abuse from children.

This is a great set. Have it and have replaced at home depot for simply losing a bit with no questions asked. Lifetime warranty from husky is awesome!

No registration needed. Just proof of purchase which HD cannot pull up after a year. It was in my account though but with Husky, just bring back to HD and they will exchange it no questions asked

Have it and it's not bad. I'm not sure what folks are expecting because there isn't that much force needed to use it. Still has a lifetime warranty either way.
