I got this last week. For me at least, no action at all was required. It's a prepaid service and you are paying $40 once to prepay for one month. When the month is up, the service will stop working.

They didn't even keep the card used to pay the initial $40 as a "Payment Method." Auto-pay is available, but for me, was not enabled initially.

One should still probably log in and verify all of this for their account, just to be safe.

I have MetroPCS right now can I put my current sim and number on this phone once I get it ?
you will have to move this phone's IMEI to your current sim card using app/website for free or call in and maybe be charged $20. Metro sims are married to the IMEI of phone. no sim swapping without effort.

Message to everyone who is ordering this phone:
We you get your phone, carefully look for the sim card in the box, it could be in a white envelope, a brown envelope, under a box flap, etc.
Many people how reported no sim was shipped only to find in in the box somewhere.
DO NOT THROW AWAY BOX/PACKAGING UNTIL YOU HAVE THE SIM CARD AND PHONE IN HAND!

non 5g version has 6gigs ram but MediaTek Helio G88 MT6769H (12 nm) processor.

5g version is only 4gigs ram but Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SM6375 (6 nm) processor.

The lowered the ram on the better phone?! Frown
You might be looking at the specifications of the 2021 version of the Moto G Stylus 5G. I believe the older version of the phone only had 4gb of RAM and a processor not capable of 5G mmWave (the super fast version of 5G, also called 5G Ultra Capacity or 5G Ultrawide).

Or if using a third party site comparison site, they might have the specs for both versions mixed up. It is pretty sucky that Motorola decided to reuse names for a bunch of different models and iterations. Causes a lot of confusion.
