Does anyone have experience/opinions on vertical mice in general?

Every time I hold them it feels weird and unnatural initially but I haven't held it long enough I think... and I don't get carpal tunnel, though I would be down for less long term strain on my wrist if others say it's worth it??

I used a Microsoft Natural mouse years ago (I think some called it a "baseball") when I started to get some soreness in my hand/wrist. I found it comfortable to use and the issue resolved. I'm not sure it was as "vertical" as this mouse but it was angled and felt more natural.

This looks like a good price, but I wish the mouse had Bluetooth as I'm not a fan of taking up ports with wireless dongles.

I gave one a shot about a year ago. No reason other than curiosity. There was a few days of adjusting to it but I love it, it really does feel more natural. I switch back to a flat mouse for my gaming computer and honestly I clicked this post to see about getting a vertical for it. I'd almost rather suffer a bit of performance for gaming because the vertical just feels so much better to me now. Can't say there are tons of physical benefits other than it just feels better.

I'm getting ring finger pain when I use my mx master 2. Anybody know does this help with that?
I also lift, so I think I screwed up with dumbbells by straining finger's?

I been using vertical mouse for like 5+ years, it feels better for sure since it is the natural hand position, i would not want to go back to the flat mouse; Might take about 1 or 2 weeks to get use to it. Now i can play FPS games with it no problems

I have this mouse and personally hate it. First, it is very light, cheap feeling plastic. I hate is. The vertical design is probably okay for some, but also not for me. I just get cramps in my thumb instead of my wrist. And anyone that sits down to my desk....forget about it. No one gets it. My daughter uses my PC some and she is 8 and just doesnt get it.

What I find hilarious is in the image for this post it shows red arrows with a bent line and green arrows with a straight line showing the wrist is bent in red but the green is straight...

But if you look at the wrists the green line is bent more than the red line wrist lmao.

farkin marketing.

I originally thought the same. But I think the issue is the "hand model" not holding the vertical mouse properly. And what's not obvious in the photo is that your hand is rotated from palm-down position to palm-sideways, kind of like when holding a pen/pencil, which is a more natural and relaxed position for the hand, wrist and arm.

A long time ago I used a Wacom pen+tablet as a mouse replacement. It got rid of the pains I had on my wrist and elbow. So there's some truth to this "vertical mouse" reducing the wrist/arm strains and preventing carpal tunnel.

Maybe it's worth trying gliding palm rest? It should be good for office work.

There are several models on Amazon made by the same OEM for much cheaper. Search for vertical 2.4ghz mouse... I'm finding them for as little as 12.99.
