Just go to the service desk and they can look up the receipt and refund the difference in less than 60 seconds. Just did this yesterday on hoodies. Price dropped $5 x2. They just needed my membership card and the item number and it was all automatic. Don't even need the item or receipt present.

Use a knife to cut them in half like the rest of us.

After you cut it use that knife to butter some bread and kill two birds with one stone, or one knife.

Just got unsalted over for $15 few days ago. Gotta return it now.
You can ask them for a price difference refund if it's within a certain amount of days (I think 30 days).

Boy, this is really a sign of the times. A YMMV deal on butter makes front page with a flame. LOL

That's what I normally do but the ones I froze a year ago haven't even gone past the expiration date yet. Not sure if it's necessary to freeze them.
Yes, it is necessary to freeze them, if you won't use before the expiration date. I don't know how well butter freezes. But, unused butter will start to oxidize from the outside in. If the butter has begun to oxidize, you can see it when you cut off the end of the stick of butter. The outer edges of the butter will have a different color... a darker, almost translucent color, showing that the butter has oxidized. You can cut away the oxidized sides and still use what's left. But, you don't want to consume the oxidized parts of the butter. It's as bad as eating partially hydrogenated oil (margarine).

Ugh, then you have to wash the knife
Start a go fund me for a dishwasher. It's this new technology where you just place the knife inside

And the actual price is left as an exercise for the reader.

Oxidized fat has nothing to do with partially hydrogenated (Trans fat) oil. LMAO

Have you been to visit the Irish cows ...they are very happy
I don't give a flying F&^% if they are happy or not or if they eat corn or grass. As long as they don't have loads of dioxins accumulated in their fatty tissues.
And based on their annual reporting, looks like the levels are pretty low, so good for Kerry Gold.

I've done side by side on both. My family vastly prefers the kerrygold to the Kirkland in every instance where you taste the butter (fresh buttered bread, etc)
I'm baffled why no one can seem to make decent butter in the States. Irish butter like the Kerrygold and French butter is better than anything I've found, including expensive stuff like Tillamook (which is decent though) and locally-made butter around here, Amish-country, and in several other places.

Lidl has Irish butter that is nearly as good as Kerrygold, not quite though.

You know what's more slick? Not going into costco store and come out with $200 dollars of unplanned purchases along with this $5 off butter.

10lbs of butter, 1 hot dog, $20,000 angioplasty and a lifetime supply of statins?

You can use distillation to get rid of the salt

'Better' here is relative to higher fat content (read the label) esp when it's used for baking.

(Also explains what others have said too like easier to cut...)
